The 14th annual CQN Open Charity Golf Day will take place at Aberdour Golf Club on Friday 29 June. I you would like to attend, please contact Taggsybhoy/Blantyrekev at cqnopen2018@outlook.com before Saturday 7 April.

The day will comprise of a round of golf at the beautiful Aberdour GC, followed by food and entertainment at the newly refurbished Woodside Hotel, Aberdour. Cost for the full event is £80 (inc evening meal) and £40 for night time.  Speakers, entertainment and good cause recipients to be confirmed. There are discounted rates for CQN’ers at the hotel that night and discounted golf subsequently at Aberdour Golf Club and at the very attractive Burntisland Golf Club. Contact reception@thewoodsidehotel.co.uk if you are interested.

This is always a great day with a fantastic group of CQN’ers.  I look forward to seeing you then.

Great gesture by Scott Brown to donate his Testimonial Game proceeds to various charities, including Liam Miller’s bereaved family.  Let’s hope there are three trophies paraded before kick off that afternoon.

    Thanks so much.

We’ve booked all inclusive, although I’m not really sure why, as I don’t drink and as you have remembered,my wife is mostly vegan, although she will do vegetarian on occasion.

She has just asked me to thank you for puting the link up.

Sevco fans are planning to wear orange at the semi-final. I think it’s a great idea.

If Celtic fans in the north stand round to east stand F7 wear green and G1 round to the main stand divide wear white we will create a massive tricolour round Hampden.

I never did school dinners. In those days, I wanted to be a fitba player, so I would jog along Southbrae Dr to Kirkton for my mammies lunch, then jog back to Saint Tams for afternoon lessons. This was my 5 day fitness regime.

D17- this has come from the charity scam game at Poundland, where 1 team of EBT huns had an all orange strip, a cert that Skintco will bring one out next season.

Good, it’ll show them up for what they are and Sports Direct will make a killing.

That would be a great idea to combat their bigoted orange strip.

    Delaney’s , regarding Andy Lynch.

I first remember seeing him play for us in 1975 at Kilbowie , it was a friendly , our reserves versus the Bankes first team.

Andy was playing at centre forward and scored a hat trick. It was also the first time I remember seeing Tommy Burns and Jim ‘Ben’Casey in the hoops.

I have a large collection of Celtic books.

Most was from memory, but I did a wee bit of research in some books earlier to help Mahe. The mid 70s to mid 80s I went to most Celtic games home and away. Those two decades seem to stick more in my mind than the 90s and Naughties. Women and Music took over a bit mid 80s on. :)

  16. DELANEYS DUNKY,never mind the chips pie and beans, get a big plate of totties and mince down ya .proper grub.lol.

  20. So, 4 Celtic players start in tonight’s game – Hendry, McGregor, Armstrong and Forrest. Certainly a stronger team than last Friday. Just a pity that a lot of the sideshow issues (manager, co-commentators, etc) will be of the EBT variety. But still supporting the TEAM.

It’s been annoying me all day. Somebody said yesterday about Sevco followers being called “bennys”

Can anyone shed any light on this ? I’m champing at the bit to give the monkeys in work some abuse.

  22. Ok guys I will just get this oot there

Said on Saturday that the Celtic players would come back in for the second game. Nice and convenient for our game on Saturday!

Why not play some of them in the first game?

And they got such a good attendance!

    Hopefully no injuries.
