CQN Golf Open knocks it out the park again

1384

We had our 11th annual CQN Charity Golf Open at Aberdour in Fife yesterday and it was another brilliant occasion.  £2000 was raised for good causes, including a local Aberdour need, Tommy Burns’ Charity and the Celtic Foundation.

My thanks to the Joe Miller, who regaled us with tales of Maradona, Jinky and Sugar Roy Aitken.  The buzz he got from playing for Celtic is clear.  The day wouldn’t be possible without Taggsybhoy and BlantyreKev, but it takes an entire crowd to make special nights like this, so thanks to each of you.

This afternoon’s game against Rennes is an important step towards getting the players fully fit but the 90 minutes have to be balanced against the Champions League qualifier on Wednesday.  I expect Ronny will ask the players the burn the flame brightly for a short period, before making lots of changes.

  1. Hibs were dreadful.

Like last season, they have no striker worth talking about, although they could have been 3-0 up after 30 mins.

They play some nice build up stuff…but they have no finish and no physical presence.

Their defence is a sieve..and the only consolation I took from this was..Wilson is also a liability for Sevco…as is their goalkeeper.

If you’re waiting to hear my views on Sevco..

Well their support is still a bigoted shower of shoite.

For the moment I will gracefully accept all slings and arrows

Having just watched Hibs losing 6 goals,

is it any wonder that Hearts won that league

    in a canter.

Feel a bit guilty as we’ve got 3 main stand season tickets between us and haven’t went!

Though wee man has a party and she’s taking him! Got our tkts for wed though,we bit nervous already but think we’ll get through1 or 2 nil over the two legs.

Just watched that mob hammer hibs there! First of all it was like watching an amateur game, and a poor one at that, both teams were wide open from the start and the Huns two central defenders were terrible. My problem was Stubbs!! Not to play Allan and then bringing him on after the game was lost was a joke as was his pre match interview.
