petec – I know, I actually do understand how that can be offensive as well, as I did follow the same beliefs at one point. So am glad you know I don’t say it lightly. Am still a Christian (well try to be). He showed everything that is good about humanity. It saddens me that so many profess to follow his Words, but do the exact opposite. It’s why I love Catholicism, as the congregation (in my experience) ALL follow Christianity in it’s true form: love and forgiveness. It’s beautiful.

Love and Forgiveness is the right thing to do always, it is impossible to achieve all the time though, there is no division in Christianity IMO, you either act Christian as often as you can or you are not one, the fundamentals of the faith must always remain and that is Jesus died and was resurrected for our sins, if you don’t believe that then you might as well chuck your holy book in the trash right now, no matter how good a person you are or you think you can be. :))
