“Dundee chief executive Scot Gardiner says it was only last night they were told they had to vote…”
I think Dundee took legal advice and told the SFL they had no choice but to let them vote.

Here’s a guess, – no decision on where Sevco play.

”Clearly, in terms of where Rangers do play, that is now a matter for others to decide upon, it is something we have no control or influence over.”
It’s a lie to say that Celtic have no influence over what is happening today.
Hughie green just said he hopes today’s vote will be the end of this saga but he is not convinced it will be.
WTF
After all that has gone on so far ,can we trust anyone to give the true result of the SFL vote today if it is a secret vote .
In normal circumstances the question would never arise but there has been absolutely nothing NORMAL in this whole shameful sham
Really who will be left to do the counting ,how many of them will witness the counting of the votes and can they all be trusted .

Thank you friends, thank you tremendously

And I’m sure you mean that most sincerely.
Celtic have no influence in the vote today, just as the moon has no influence on the tides!

CFC and PL have said nothing so far of any note,I think that should change today.
Got to agree with ernie and PF Ayr. There is no way Doncaster can be acting in this manner without the support of SPL clubs. The question is, which ones (apart from Kilmarnock and Hibs)?
This is an utter sham.
HH..
Regan & Doncaster to quote that Glasgow saying
” cannae tell their erse from their elbow!”
Why not just admit they’re doing it all for the former bigoted tax dodging establishment.
And please why no minty questions.
Strange..
Celtic since 1888
Well done Ernie Lynch
our manager is now a LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Correct me if I am wrong but this new company has made an application to join the SPL by transferring the oldco’s share to it rejected. It has then made an application to join the SFL which Celtic are not a member of. That decision is for the 30 members of the SFL not the memebers of the SPL.
It is correct to say that the SPL should not be trying to influence the SFL into what Division any new club should be allowed by the SFL. However that does not make our manager a liar.
HENRY McLEISH:
“John Yorkston is right to include integrity and credibility and ethics as the basic foundation for Scottish football. But we don’t live in a world of extremes and we don’t live in a world of absolutes”
These are not “extremes”, Henry. These are simply the foundations of moral behaviour. How should we act? How should we behave? There may be a debate to be had about the merits of the consquentialist vs. duty-based approaches to morality but what we should not condone is a dismissal of the ethical questions altogether.
The one clear thing in all of this is that there is a sharp divide between a group of people who see the value of moral and ethical behaviour and another group who are happy discard all principles in order to embrace a broken business model.
Of all people, we hope that politicians are guided by a desire to see justice and fairness across society. After all – they have a great deal of influence on what happens to a great number of people.
Perhaps it’s too much to expect from a man already stained and corrupted by his own political scandal. Henry McLeish is a poor example to all.

Again quite so
There was no need for that opening gambit from NL ….which I think was disingenuous
Live from Bbc Scotland website
HENRY McLELLAND
“In the last four years we found Gretna in the situation where they entered administration and then liquidation. There was no-one there who could rescue them; so a place was vacant and we got that.
“Livingston found themselves in a similar scenario and again, the SFL demoted Livingston from Division One to Division Three.
“Now, it’s quite simple: we cannot make exceptions because it’s Glasgow Rangers.”

Fabio Capello has been to Moscow yesterday for talks.
Russian media are just informing that Russian FA signed two years contract with Capello. Rumours that the wages are 10 m euros per year.
I don’t know how Capello won that contract? Harry Redknapp was the othe candidate for that post. Redknapp was not better for that place?
Just back in from the corner shop.
Bought three corners.
Off oot noo you’ll be pleased to know. :))
The most momentous day in Scottish football. In Kintyre with only a very slow kindle to keep up. No radio reception. And some eejit wants us to name the human bones!

Is it correct to say that the SPL are trying to influence the SFL?
Is it correct to say that Celtic director Eric Riley is also a director of the SPL?
Is it correct to say that Celtic do have influence over what the SPL does?

In view of the fact that I don`t trust the S.F.A or the S.P,L, or Regan or Doncaster or sundry others,I have decided in my wisdom ,to stick the boot into the Celtic Football Club ,Peter Lawwell and Neil Francis Lennon.
Because that`s what Celtic supporters should do.
How so?
Well,`cos we think they might be complicit.
In what?
Don`t know, but we`ll let you know when we find out.
