  1. Morning everyone,

Watched Sally’s interview yesterday & one thing really stuck in my throat.

    This comment here

McCoist said: “Our good friends across the road at Celtic issued a statement this week. They’ve said the

integrity of the game is of paramount importance to Scottish football.

“We totally agree with that and so would all the other SPL clubs. The vast majority of SPL chairmen listened to their supporters and I’ve had meetings with our fans.

“Around 80 per cent of our support have said, ‘Enough is enough, let’s go to SFL3’.

    He is a slimey toad.

Also they have been punished enough really annoys me.

They have not even been punished yet. All that has happened is standard in cases of Administration & Liquidation.

There still should be many more sanctions if Oldco get found guilty of the double contracts, if they ever publish the results.

They even tried to cite Leeds as an example which everybody knows was a totally different scenario

  2. Hector Avocado on

Why do you think the SFL vote was pushed back to 13/7/12?

I see Longshanks furiously backpeddling in his language, now that he can see the writing on the wall.

The language in general is evolving as they smell the glove…

Rangers newco must play in the SPL

Rangers newco must play in SFL1

Rangers newco must play in SFL3

Rangers newco must play football next season

  3. timbhoy in spain on

The only way they´ll have been punished enough is if they´re not voted into the SFL anywhere.Far as I´m concerned.

Correcto mundo…the whole vote to see where they play is a red herring, they have in fact not been punished at all and are brazenly filling the papers with talk of signing Black and other like reptiles for their new peepul.

The vote is meaningless as they will be lucky to play anywhere from their own side a massive 250 season tickets have been sold for next season.

This is a smokescreen to deflect away from the absolute complicity of SFA memberrs(sic) in the scandal that was and continues to be Rangers FC!!

Disband the SFA, finish the investigations and remove the guilty this is the only first step for Scottish Football.

    jake the snake ‏@celticservant

Rangers Newco have sold an astonishing 250 season tickets! That’s probably about right for an SFL 3 club.

    Starry

  7. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!..Truth and Justice HAS prevailed on

If they have only sold 250 SBs to date, my prediction of a few weeks ago is going to be realised …….. The sevco is going to be liquidated also ….the gift that keeps on giving ….. Silly sevcos …… !!!!

  8. In terms of punishment, have Celtic been punished enough?

Many fans on here have witheld their support of Celtic for perceived slights from our employees.

I have no opinion on the merits of those personal decisions but would hope that recent events and actions wouild bring those ghuys back to the fold of supporters without recriminations from existing supporters. People need to save face so I hope that the abstainers decide to partake this year with no need to apologise.

PS I expect SKY/ESPN will be glad for the unforecasted surge in re-connection fees.

The DR ‘story’ regards Beattie joining SevCo is quite simply a lie

Beattie leaves for South Africa tomorrow to have a medical with Bidvest Wits

  10. Celbridge Celt on

I see the DR are preventing comments on all Rangers threads? Do you think they think that the groundswell of opinion (i.e. people blowing their stories to shreds) have had an affect on the feelings of the many?

I wonder how many hits the get per day?, and I hope my visiting to review what the eejits are saying doesn’t positively impact their advertising revenue.

To publish a story stating how much of a “black hole” they have shows how much they are rallying against Green (much of the Season ticket money is possibly in D&P’s old co account) I doubt if they require such a budget in any case… But to then publish a story about Craig Beattie possibly joining is plain dumb (nothing unusual there), Beattie will actually command a decent wage probably in the Championship, he knows it, we know it.. His agent won’t be that stupid (I almost expect him to sign for F.C. Sion now!)

After they’ve been bummed out of their Pre-season friendlies (which I expect is due to them carrying so much Footballing debt) I expect that to hit them to the tune of approx £1 Million.

It’s almost peverse now watching events unfold for the rotting carcus… let the rest in peace…

I saw you posted that last night…

The point being they are brazenly saying GIRFUY to the whole of Scottish Football by even planting these stories.

My concern is that Sevco will go bust anyway and then the supporters of all teams will think that it’s over, it won’t be over until we remove the people who allowed this level of corruption to flourish in the first place.

The fact that any kind of vote is being considered is a slap in the face to any right thinking person..

Trading suspended pending investigation sounds good to me..

  12. Fat Sally the managerial saviour rolls out his rhetoric yesterday in a further attempt to play the victim, the “our friends across the city” line was no off the cuff remark, this individual has previous for using inciteful or inflammatory statements, what he chooses to forget and what the media have tried to air brush over is that his club, thats HIS club, the one thats apparently the victim in all of this, contrived to cheat through breaches of footballing rules and guidelines not only “their friends across the city” but every other club they played against, by their connivance they have cheated the tax payer out of circa £75million pounds, they have cheated businesses large and small out of much needed cash, the operative word in all of this is cheated, we find ourselves currently being subjected to some of the most ridiculous statements ever from individuals such as mcoist and brown, worryingly but not surprisingly the media are happy and content to air these views despite the fact they are in part inflammatory, they not only air them but dont feel the need to question the content of them, “no one likes us, we dont care” has generally been their motto, well they are correct in the first part, whether they care or not is irrelevant, this horde is becoming akin to a rabid dog, its needs treatment and it needs it quickly before we all become infected.

Finally Im heartened by the comment from the same individual who says they will listen to their fans and play in Div 3, isnt their a small issue that the share transfer from rangers 1872 to sevco has still to be accepted?

  13. starry plough

I posted last night that i think Green’s backers will walk if they start off in Div 3. Reagan + Doncaster know this imo hence the threats and intimidation to the SFL clubs

If Green’s backers walk, then we have a Third Lanark situation with Rangers 1872. They would have to do a AFC Wimbledon setup which means years in the wilderness

The SPL + SFL clubs should be pressing for a EGM to deliver a no confidence vote against Reagan + Doncaster

WE WAS BRUNG UP PROPER !!

“And we never had a whole Mars bar until 1993”!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE

    1940’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank Sherry while they carried us and lived in houses made of asbestos…

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese, bread and dripping, raw egg products, loads of bacon and processed meat, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes or cervical cancer.

Then after that trauma, our baby cots were covered with bright coloured lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets or shoes, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

Take away food was limited to fish and chips, no pizza shops, McDonalds , KFC, Subway or Nandos.

Even though all the shops closed at 6.00pm and didn’t open on a Sunday, somehow we didn’t starve to death!

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.

We could collect old drink bottles and cash them in at the corner store and buy Toffees, Gobstoppers and Bubble Gum.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter, milk from the cow,and drank soft drinks with sugar in it, but we weren’t overweight because……

    WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O..K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of old prams and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. We built tree houses and dens and played in river beds with matchbox cars.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo Wii , X-boxes, no video games at all, no 999 channels on SKY ,

no video/dvd films, or colour TV

no mobile phones, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms……….WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no

    Lawsuits from these accidents.

    Only girls had pierced ears!

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

You could only buy Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns at Easter time….

We were given air guns and catapults for our 10th birthdays,

We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just yelled for them!

Mum didn’t have to go to work to help dad make ends meet because we didn’t need to keep up with the Jones’s!

Not everyone made the rugby/football/cricket/netball team. Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!! Getting into the team was based on

    MERIT

Our teachers used to hit us with canes and gym shoes and throw the blackboard rubber at us if they thought we weren’t concentrating ..

We can string sentences together and spell and have proper conversations because of a good, solid three R’s education.

Our parents would tell us to ask a stranger to help us cross the road.

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of.

They actually sided with the law!

Our parents didn’t invent stupid names for their kids like ‘Kiora’ and ‘Blade’ and ‘Ridge’ and ‘Vanilla’

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO

    DEAL WITH IT ALL !

And YOU are one of them!

    CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated our lives for our own good.

And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave their parents were.

For those able to stand it, 5 live are doing a ‘Does Scottish football need Rangers?’ special from 9.00.

I loved the detail of them giving the diddy clubs a stapled version of their presentation but giving Celtic the only spiral-bound copy. I don’t know why but I’m picturing Malcom Murray eat a bacon roll while he cobbles the whole shebang together, grease dripping onto one of them (‘I’ll give that to Killie – they’re already in the bag anyway).

Even better was them offering to adhere to the transfer embargo while mobile phones buzzed in the news to the SPL boardroom that Ian Black was going to sign for them.

‘If in doubt, cheat your way out. That’s the Rangers philosophy, ladies and gentlemen.’

See the whole ‘Scotland needs a strong rangers’ and ‘save rangers’ campaign by the SFA/SPL/SFL it now makes it clear the past few seasons of cheating were part of that campaign.

We are not paranoid, what we are seeing today is the authorities cheating and so desperate they are they dont mind it being public.

Three penalties denied at ibrox ‘we need a strong rangers’

Marc Antone Fotruné goal at Celtic Park against the muck ‘we need a strong rangers’

    It cant be paranoia

Everyone involved in these decisions cheated Celtic and us and the SFA/SPL have now shown publically why they did, they needed a strong rangers.

We should sue for being labled ‘paranoid’ a mental illness that many were quick to accuse the Celtic support of being.

No one was ever paranoid, we were right, the cheating (this deserves a sweary word but Im not allowed. Use your imagination. Aye That word. See told ye.)

  25. The approach to SFL 1 for newco is simple.

    1. Regan and Doncaster lie , threaten and bully SFL chairmen

    2. Mcoist will become the media face although his messages are dripping with innuendo, threats and the punished victim

    3. Media ,Traynor Iain King ( big Hun sports editor of Sun ) , dawwyyll etc will start propaganda that will make Hitlers proclamations from the reichstag seem bland.

The SFL clubs may be small financially , however they will be giants in terms of sporting integrity. With or without this RFC situation other clubs in the SPL will go into admin and possibly liquidate. Do these clubs want to create a precedent that they can shed their debt and parachute in SFL 1.

Doncaster and Regan must go whatever the outcome. Regan as the SFA CEO and the custodian of the rules and integrity of the game needs to be removed ASAP. Doncaster is a corrupt individual who will do anything to feather his own nest ( wonder what tax dodges he is up to ).

This is a watershed for the Scottish game and sporting fair play and integrity are the baseline for the future sport ; corruption and cheating needs to be cleansed from our game.
