After yesterday’s significant news CQN TV kicked off the summer season with a bit of fun. I spoke to Glasgow’s hottest model and TV presenter, Nicole, together with social media masters’ student, Suzie, at Epicures in Glasgow’s west end.
We have a few videos coming up, hope you enjoy them.

I understand what you are saying chief,my initial thoughts were the exact same…boycott them. Now the more i think about it,the more that i reckon it’s a bad idea.It could be playing into the hun’s “if we go,the SPL collapses” mentality.
Kilmarnock are going to the wall regardless, with or without us or the huns.
I predict that they will be relegated. They punched well above their weight last season, but they are a bad lot.
Their hun chairman is merely looking for excuses, looking for something or somebody to blame for their imminent demise.
They were never going to be buying any new players this season.
How can sevco be allowed a vote regards spl survival yet Dundee aren’t allowed a vote regards sfl 1 entry?

Looks like Dundee areahead of Dunfermline to be Club 12. What do we think?
Personally I think Dunfermline should be in.
If Rangers cheating had been exposed they would have been automatically relegated.
Also what I don´t understand is why the alarm bells weren´t ringing in the tax office when no PAYE payments & N.I. payments were forthcoming.
craigwhitesoptometrist,
I don’t see what Dundee’s potential conflict is. If they are going up then it makes no difference to them who is in division one or division three.
The only argument could be that they won’t be an SFL side cone the start of the season – but that doesn’t stack up either. No decision has been made and anyway if they are a member at the time of a vote surely they are entitled to take part?
I’ve never liked McCoist since the day he conducted the hun choir at CP as they sang their hymnsheet of hate.
He was warming up as sub at the corner adjoining away fans and main stand. McCoist knew he was winding us up but was warned by two coppers to stop it. Anyway as soon as their backs were turned he started up again and this time the front stand went crazy at his antics.
Mr. Niceguy could’ve kicked off some trouble, which was probably his aim. He got away with it. As far as I’m concerned there are none worse than him and Walter.

Ernie,
The trust didn’t show that it was there for wages, therefore hiding the illegal tax scam.
Excellent. Many thanks.
I hear that you will be right regarding fraud.
Murray, Souness, W Smith and more.
Separately, for anyone that hasn’t already, have a look at Newco presentation’s back page…
“We are Rangers.”
Blinding.
He’s all thats wrong with the human race, a disgusting “man”!
There could be a few lawsuits flying about from Dundee, Dunfermline, Spartans, Cove Rangers and whoever woul be due promotion or non relegation from each of the SFL divisions.
FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Ally will get his wish for Division 3, good enough for the sleekit two face rat.
Him and his best friend Illiterate Brown are bringing Celtic into every interview. “Our good friends Celtic” “Green has surrendered to Lawwell”
Scottish football will survive fine without them, especially after Reagan and Doncaster are fired and Ogilvie goes as well.

My fear is that the SPL could become embroiled in a legal battle between Dundee and Dunfermline.
Each have a good case to be in the SPL.
Each are perfectly within their rights to pursue it further.
Seeing how the SFA & SPL have handled this shambolic affair to date, it is likely to end in complete stalemate.
I would recommend both clubs go straight to the CAS for a quick resolution.
As for the SFL, just promote whoever you would have chosen without the interference of fiasco FC.
Show them the same courtesy and consideration they have shown others throughout their inglorious history.
Re the Dundee v Dunfermline debate
Here are my thoughts
A one of game at a neutral venue, winner goes to the SPL, loser gets the revenue generated, win win for both clubs.
Any thoughts?

But none of that has to happen. There is a way forward which can resolve these issues and make things go a lot more smoothly. There is a way in which fan power can be exercised early, to resolve these matters and bring closure, and clarity, to this situation.
The supporters who have lobbied their clubs thus far, the clubs who feel they have been let down, the people who have acted with courage, all of them can do so one last time. Fans can contact their directors and make one last demand. Directors can convene EGM’s. Those who believe they have been told lies can choose to act. One more time, let the campaign begin
James I have an idea about how to harness the fan power ahead of the debate. I’d like to discuss it with you before I post. If you’re up for that please get my e-mail from Paul 67 and drop me a line. Warsaw.

I think they should roshambo for it. You, of all people, must surely agree with that ;-)
The play-off idea is a sensible solution providing both teams agree.
They may well decide that they are entitle to SPL without having to ‘gamble’.
I do like the idea of the funds going to the loser though. Innovative.
Obviously you don’t work for the SFA.
Dunfermline are nothing club, whilst we all know about a section of Dundee support. For good of league I think Dundee would add more with at least 3 derby matches.

Lane Cove…

Delenda sunt Hunni (the huns must be destroyed)
I have a slightly altered take on the Div.1/ Div. 3/ lower leagues/ oblivion choices facing Rangers, as I have listened to the Mood Music coming from John Brown, Ally McCoist, and the 5Live phone-in this morning.
I have been advocating we let Sevco in at Div. 3 level without any official club history, regardless of what they call themselves. I have acknowledged that it is an incredibly generous offer we are making to Sevco, in order to keep ex-Rangers fans following the game and putting money into Scottish football. It is generous, rather than punitive, because they will have dumped £140m+ of debt, bought their infrastructure back for £5.5m and found a scam to let their big wage earners walk so that they can field a team that will not be financially crippling or over-qualified to win Div. 3. It is generous, rather than punitive, because, as Awe Naw and others point out, they should spend 3 years in a lower league in order to provide audited accounts which would qualify them as being allowed to apply to join the SFL at Div. 3 levels.
Why am I prepared to make such a generous offer? When I hear the proto-fans of Sevco responding, I wonder myself at my naivety. However, my reason is that, short of making them stay in the SPL and pay back all their debts, which they aint gonna do, the only punishment which will make a mark on them is the official underpinning that they are a new club with no history. Rangers fans can bluster all they want; the official records must show that they have gambled with and lost their existence and history as Rangers. It is what we did with Gretna 2008 and Airdrie United when Gretna FC and Airdrieonians lost their history.
Now, after listening to Brown, McCoist and others on 5 Live this morning, I am wondering whether the Div. 1 offer, is part of the Peter Lawwell/ Stuart Regan discussed preference. It seems to me that they may be close to accepting that Sevco get to keep Rangers history and that, in order to reflect the magnitude of what the old club did, they must treat Sevco as a continuation of Rangers, and continue to punish them with sanctions, transfer caps etc; which will hamstring them and punish them for more than the 3 seasons it might take a debt-free Sevco to climb out of Div.3, Div. 2, and Div. 1.
If so, it is an arguable case but I feel a dangerous one. It is perhaps, recognising that the EBT decision will not be made until well after next season has started. By that time, Sevco may have chosen to portray themselves as a new club, albeit inheriting Rangers trophies but none of their financial obligations, and it might be difficult to apply any retrospective punishment to them. They may be feeling that, letting them keep their history and then suffer a later football penalty, financial and points deductions, might prove to hamper them for longer than 3 promotions would.
So why Div. 1 rather than Div. 3? Well, I think that it may be to do with financial and points penalties applied to Sevco as a Div. 3 club might not hurt or embarrass them as they may still be likely to win promotion against moribund opposition. However, applied at Div. 1 level it may see one club from within the Dunfermline, Thistle, Falkirk, Hamilton or Livi, out perform them and, even if they did win promotion back to SPL would be sufficient to keep them as a bottom 6 club or relegation struggler.
The noises made by Bomber Brown, McCoist’s inferences, and Michael Kelly this morning suggests there may be some official Celtic thought leaning that way.
I am not convinced that Sevco would not wriggle free from this attempted straight jacket but I’d welcome thoughts from other Celts as to whether, if offered, they would prefer one of the following scenarios:-
1) Sevco Rangers with no history but no sanctions starting from Div. 3 or lower
2) Continuity Sevco Rangers with all their achievements intact, subject to review after EBT case decision, but burdened with crippling sanctions which will hinder them for a decade rather than 3 years.
McCoist wishing for SFL3 is merely self-preservation. Gives him the chance to stay in a job for a couple of years longer than he otherwise would. No more, no less, and long may he continue in post if he remains as successful as last season.

I would prefer them playing outwith the SFL until they have 3 years accounts, audited and offered as part of an application to join the SFL3.
We can’t have it both ways.
We either want them to pay ethically by getting the boot or we want to gain from their financial demise.
I will go ethics every time.
Has to be Dundee – as Club 12. Rule A2:1
“….the Club finishing in last place in the League in the immediately preceding Season shall not be eligible to participate in the League and shall be relegated to the SFL and the Candidate Club shall be promoted from the SFL and admitted entry to the League”
They need SFL to confer Candidate Club status on Dundee

EBT – yep disclosed in their Annual Accounts. No details and basically a one-liner number. Question is…. was the detail disclosed in the registrations to the football authorities? Case to answer (apprently). Ahem….
Congratulations on your citizenship Tom but in Australia you are only allowed two passports regardless of how many logins you may be allowed on CQN.
