CUP FINAL TICKETS: 50/50 SPLIT

CELTIC and Hearts have been given an equal allocation of tickets for the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden on May 25.

The Hoops have the opportunity of a historic hat-trick of Cup triumphs – something that, remarkably, has eluded the club in the past.

It would also bring a phenomenal and unprecedented treble treble, all nine domestic honours in a spectacular three-year spell.

Coincidentally, the teams will meet the week before the Hampden confrontation when the champions bring their Premiership campaign to a halt in the east end of Glasgow when they will be celebrating their eighth successive crown.

DIDN’T HE DO WELL…Callum McGregor is congratulated by his Celtic team-mates after the opening goal in last season’s Cup Final win over Motherwell.

Craig Levein’s men face Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side at Tynecastle tomorrow and if the visitors fail to win, the door would be open for the Hoops to overcome Hibs at Easter Road 24 hours later to claim yet another crown.

For the Cup Final, the SFA have confirmed the ticketing details for the match, with the clubs both given 20,220 tickets.

The briefs are priced between £15 and £35, with concessions costing between £8 and £20.
