There was a degree of anticipation that we would hear the official announcement today of the creditors meeting Duff and Phelps planned to hold on 6 June, where a vote would be held on the proposed CVA. Creditors must receive notification of a meeting, with proposals, 14 days in advance, with notice normally given by post and by advertisement.
STV today revealed that the administrators hope to send details “at some point this week”. Tomorrow is the last postal date for items to be delivered on time for a 6 June meeting, but it’s seldom administrators would leave themselves at the fortune of the final postal collection. It would be embarrassing if Duff and Phelps were unable to even get to the stage of putting a proposal to creditors.
Inspired by the stories of three children, Celtic Quick News readers this year have raised a considerable sum of money for research into Neuroblastoma. One of them, Niamh Curry, age 5, slipped away yesterday. There are no words or sentiment of consolation to offer, but our thoughts and prayers go to Niamh and her family.

Who is Tristan Loughrey??
From the email from Tristan to D&P
“but it would be helpful for my own piece of mind”

It’s also signed off Tristan Loughrey instead of Loughren.
If Alex Thomson’s is venturing into satire he has picked a strange place to start on Ch4 website!
A bemusing piece.
Just read the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18148989). I know I shouldn’t, but I do pay for it, so I feel entitled to.
I think ND has either been sniffing glue to get his hair to stand on end and spout this rubbish. He really should resign before he embarrasses himself further.
I appreciate he is only trying to protect a TV deal that hasn’t been signed yet, and subsequently his bonus, but the BBC shouldn’t write this bull, it’s demeaning.
Magnificentseven
Don’t think she’s too bothered as she has the enjoyment of my top notch cooking most weekends:o)
Probably a bar meal would do on this occasion. Is there a place nearby called Horseshoe something or other?

Plenty of Indian restaurants at that End of the city in Sachiehall street. Also the Griffen across the road from Kings does pub grub but will be busy with theatre goers before the show.
Horseshoe is not near kings.
I have stated from the beginning that it will all hinge on what Celtic do.
My oft repeated mantra has been:- Belfast Celtic or Derry City.
As the farce has unfolded, I am more convinced in my view.
Any mechanism which installs Newclub into the SPL, is a defeat for sporting integrity.
It will not be enough for Celtic to vote against and make strong statements, then acquiesce in the cheating.
If we cannot escape, and I think that, at the very least, we post the two years notice, then we would be as well to shut the shop.
Heartbreaking as that would be for all of us, how can we live with a situation where we know that the game is run for the benefit of one club?
I would settle for my memories, in the knowledge that Celtic maintained their honour and integrity.
To do otherwise is a betrayal of all who went before us, who knew they were being treated as second class citizens, but lacked the proof, or the means to articulate their knowledge.
The ball is in Celtic’s court.
Notice to resign or eat it up.

good grub….and if she likes seafood all the better
Did Lamont actually speak to Doncaster. All I see is a rehash of what has been said before..so we waited all day for nothing.Incredibly poor journalism, no questions asked, just a regurgitated press release. Shame on the bbc
Hey celtic heritage !
You dont fool me are you a hun ?
His name is given as Loughren and Loughrey in the one article. A poor piece no matter what you look at it.
Árd Macha
Ard Macha
A load of auld malarkey…..this is to prevent it being moderated…….this story is a one eyed jobbie……keeek….
Guys, very many thanks. Seems The Horseshoe whatever was actually The Griffin in the mind of she who is obeyed now and again:o)
I knew CQN would solve this!
Ah, I’m told a booking has now been made.
Maybe Tomo piece is a tribute to succulent lamb journalism…
Could’ve been written by any one of the uusual tabloid hun hacks….
How much more can they bend the rules until they finally break?
They will assure us that money is the “glue” to put the broken pieces of our football back together.
But its only respecting the rules in the first place that strengthens the sports integrity.
No to Newclub.
First post and already accused – don’t believe it!! I have been supporting Celtic since I was taken by my father as a seven year old – that was 39 years ago. I was brought up to love all things Celtic rather than hate all things not Celtic. No matter what I am accused of, I will always be a Celtic supporter. ST holder and sit with 3 generations of very proud Celtic supporters – section 113 if you need to ask, same seats since the stand was built.
Hail Hail

Agreed matey, the only way to STOP this shambles is for Celtic to resign because ND is a chancer and we can’t depend on him.
I understand if we resign then we may not have anywhere to go but at least we will make a statement to the world that we will not compete in a corrupt league.
celtic heritage-You could be called a hun for not knowing the initiation ceremony on here :}

Welcome and enjoy this great site HH
This guy could do a better job than Doncaster ex war vet as well
Sky sports package and ESPN cancelled.
I explained to them that listening to Donkeycaster was the last straw.
I only watch it because I thought it was a genuine competition but when New Club gets into the SPL sporting integrity goes out the wIndow.
I am not paying to watch the footballing equivalent of WWE.
Can’t believe I rose to the bait !!
