There was a degree of anticipation that we would hear the official announcement today of the creditors meeting Duff and Phelps planned to hold on 6 June, where a vote would be held on the proposed CVA. Creditors must receive notification of a meeting, with proposals, 14 days in advance, with notice normally given by post and by advertisement.
STV today revealed that the administrators hope to send details “at some point this week”. Tomorrow is the last postal date for items to be delivered on time for a 6 June meeting, but it’s seldom administrators would leave themselves at the fortune of the final postal collection. It would be embarrassing if Duff and Phelps were unable to even get to the stage of putting a proposal to creditors.
Inspired by the stories of three children, Celtic Quick News readers this year have raised a considerable sum of money for research into Neuroblastoma. One of them, Niamh Curry, age 5, slipped away yesterday. There are no words or sentiment of consolation to offer, but our thoughts and prayers go to Niamh and her family.

Thoughts with the family of Niamh Curry. What an awful experience for a wee girl to go through – and I can only imagine how terrible it must have been for those who loved her.
TOMOBLOG later: did Rangers
Administrators ignore a bidder
with more than £600 million in
funds?
Paul, as the SAGA continues it occurred to me that there’s defitinitely a book in all of this when it eventually comes to some kind of conclusion. You know, a CQN Magazine type of book/booklet.
Anyway, being impatirnt, I actually went back to Monday 13th February when you uttered the famous words ‘There are not words powerful enough to describe today’s news. ‘ Then I copied every post since then (except ceratin game reports) and what a read that gives! Did you know that you have written over 57000 words on this long-running saga?
Tragic news about little Naimh.
My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family at this terrible time.
God bless.
For the Curry family —
The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
A holiday Monday here in sunny and warm Toronto. Very sorry to hear about Niam’s sad passing, may she rest in peace.
My own wee girl Clare (11) is heading to Tennessee later today to take part in a global school competition with 8 classmates; it will be even more difficult to wave her goodbye. She’ll be getting extra hugs from her auld da today:)
Fingers crossed that this week will bring down the beast and the rest of us can get on with living on a level playing field. next job is for the refereeing to be fixed, pardon the pun:)

There’s also a wee picture at the bottom of the blog which might be distressing. Or it may be uplifting. Or both.

Some interesting coincidences:
CVA proposals due issued to Creditors today
FTT decision overdue
Mark Daly itching to broadcast his story on wednesday
SPL surprise us with news that they have something to say about Rangers Player Registrations inquiry
CVA Proposals postponed
There is obviously a connection between the first and the last. Question is: Is there a causative link involving the other issues?
