Deadline day is as it should be. Celtic have completed the business which they hope will see them through to the title in May (or April). There is a sub-squad of peripheral players who may get a loan, while Giorgos Giakoumakis is expected to leave for Atlanta in the North American closed shop. The MLS window is open until April, which introduces an anomaly for Celtic to consider.
With two in and two out in defence, a striker in and Giorgos probably heading out, the first team squad is net up a central midfielder – Tomoki Iwata. Without closing doors on development opportunities open to our recent additions, it is hard to see the value in adding new bodies without others going out.

Nicky Clark has won his appeal for the red card shown to him against Sevco.
That should be the end of that coward Collum’s refereeing career.
jackiemac,
Oh and they should call out the false narrative that wages cause inflation, its became obvious to anyone who understands monetry systems, devaluing currency through quantitative easing is by far the greatest contributer to inflation. The contribution of wages is neglegable by comparison.
Big Wavy
Strange that Iwata says he can play CH too. Only 5′ 10″ I believe.
I wonder if McGregor will play LM when Iwata plays or if he gets a rest instead
Good morning all from a bright sunshiny match day from Springburn (work).

It’s amazing how there’s never anything in the kitty for a fair wage for public employees but they can always find millions of pounds for royal funerals and coronations, not to mention millions to protect a royal sex offender from justice.
new article will be up at noon.
thanks canamalar
Tom Mc,
They always ask the bankers to advise on inflation, the same criminals that are responsible for the national debt and contribute the least to the national coffers. Right now the biggest contributers to the national coffers are the public sector workers. What I find most concerning is that there are too many people who believe the crooks that are too big to fail and demand bail outs every time their criminal activity causes another crash or needs underwritten, oh and their bonus still gets paid, in fact the bigger the bail out the bigger the bonus.
come the revolution comrade, I’m taking big house with a pool and servants :oD))))
hurrah match day
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse they find a new way of messing with VAR.
If you can’t get consistency when you’ve got people looking at the same video and coming up with Teo different conclusion then the game is up.

The Bank of England doesn’t advise on inflation, it has to, by statute, work to keep inflation below a certain level. For the public benefit, not it’s own.
They aren’t responsible for the national debt, and they are public sector workers
“It’s amazing how there’s never anything in the kitty for a fair wage for public employees but they can always find millions of pounds for royal funerals and coronations, not to mention millions to protect a royal sex offender from justice.”
And wars?
And to keep Michelle Mone & co happy…
Coneybhoy,
Every single improvement in working conditions and social services were the result of union action that is why the popularity of that bitch Thatchers anti-union laws always confused me.
200 years ago there was no income tax, customs and excise tax is how governments were financed. It was introduced to fund war, they like to blame Labout for all the taxes with the lie that Labour is the high tax party when every new tax apart from Corporation tax (Callaghan) was introduced by the tories and liberals, the only interruption by Labour was to use the money to improve living conditions and social services for the working population. PAYE was introduced by Churchill to move the tax burden away from the rich and its stayed that way since. Heath introduced VAT and change the surtax to higher rate tax on the rich, funnily enough another tax blamed on Labour. When it comes to fing out truths people are lazy eh.
Ok, re the Clark situation, Celtic should move that VAR be suspended. That’s 2 referees who both decided wrongly that a player be sent off. This is a complete gift to try to get this sorted out. Celtic MUST act on this judgement. This has thrown complete doubt on the integrity of refereeing. An absolute open goal, don’ t do a Van Vossen Celtic
Wee wullie never got it right , var didn’t get it right but in the end justice was done Clark red card recinded , It don’t matter that the hun played against 10 for over an hour as long as he’s back Sunday to face us … The games a bogey

They recommend the actions and metrics required by government to gauge and keep inflation under control including quantitative easing, the single biggest contributer to inflation, while they continue pushing the myth about wages being the major problem.

CANAMALAR:
One thing that I would like to know, does shareholders’ dividends cause inflation? I recently read about a guy, who owns an organic fruit & Veg delivery service, doubling his dividend this year from +£4000,000 to +£800.000, and it got me thinking about inflation, por cierto

Is it Port Vale you follow …..
Stoke on trent has two teams , Port Vale is the one that has appeared on Homes under the hammer right now .
Another bit of useless info I know but it’s a slow day ….
The way O’Riley been playing recently which hasn’t been that good,,give ididcuchie a try out this evening,I think it’s a shame that through no fault of his own,he has been told he can leave ,
I remember in the 70s that the crappy orange and black plastic Striker footballs were always 99p.
Never went up with inflation……….
I watched DeAnn (BoE) on newsnight last night and her problem was with wage increases no mention of the ongoing devaluation of the pound through quantitative easing. or how the cantillion effect shifts wealth to the rich away from the vast majority of taxpayers who always end up paying with their money and living standards.
Not getting into the Danish squad for the World Cup, I believe, has affected Matt’s confidence. He probably needs a good run of games to recover some of it, but, Mooy has been outstanding since returning from that competition, so unlikely that he’ll get the games needed, por cierto
Marspapa
For my sins I’m a Vale season ticket holder – we don’t talk about the stokies
Burslem is often on the program
I think Matt will go in the summer and important to the way we play.
I think Iwata will be huge for us (POTY in Japan. Am I the only one excited about this guy ?).
Mooy is great when we play the diddy teams but a liability against the huns & europe (too slow).
Guchi is gone. Way behind the pecking order and didn’t work out. Replaced by Abildgard and then Iwata.
O’Riley needs to break that goalscoring duck. Feels like it’s holding him back. I think the whole team too is getting use to the difference between JJ and AJ as an inverted full back. Does it differently.

That’s because the B of E are very keen to avoid a wage-price spiral which would have a very serious affect on the economy. She wouldn’t have gone on tv to win an argument about the causes of inflation
Reading between the lines Guchi will go to Japan and GG to the states sometime in February.
McCarthy will hang around like a well-paid bad smell for a while yet. Welsh was a weird one. No use him sitting around and getting older. Should have left,

“Mooy is great when we play the diddy teams but a liability against the huns…..(too slow).”
I have to disagree. There is no one in the hun team has his composure nor ability to take the ball under pressure. And they don’t have a lot of pace in their midfield. He would always be in my team.
However, I respect your opinion.
