A look at the fixture list will not provide immediate comfort, we have away trips to Sparta and Milan ahead in the next 10 days, both of whom won comfortably at Celtic Park earlier in the campaign. The principle positive is that after the team arrive home in the early hours of 4 December, the farthest we travel from Glasgow for the rest of the month is the 10 miles to Hamilton.
We have a meaningless home game against Lille on 10 December and the Scottish Cup Final 10 days later, but that Hamilton game is the only league match in five away from Celtic Park. This will be our least taxing month of the league campaign. It is an opportunity to get things right ahead of the Ibrox visit on 2 January, but as we saw with Newco last season, even easy looking games can result in defeats when the heads are down.
If arrive at Ibrox solid in defence, controlling I midfield with an additional 15 points and a fourth consecutive Scottish Cup win, it is game on again, but I doubt any of us are complacent about those 15 points.

I made a similar comment shortly after the post.

I only got 8 out 10.
Great old Pics though.

New Knee needed for me I’m afraid

Apparently Soro may be under quarantine as he went back home to get married 🤔
If Neil continues playing Brown and Frimpong he’ll be gone in weeks if not days. Sparta may mean little but I don’t see Lennon surviving any repeat of the Celtic Park shambles.
AN DÚN on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 9:22 AM
I didn’t think he’d survive the 1-4 to be honest. And when he did, I didn’t think he could afford to drop any more league points any time soon…
I get the feeling that the league would have to be almost over for the board to take action. Lennon won’t walk.
BIG JIMMY on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 7:06 AM
I “invite” nothing, I merely express my opinion as you do but without the abuse you frequently hurl at me on here.
“I stand accused”…….I want us to win every game but have a right make my feelings known on this blog as you do, again without the abuse that hand out to anyone you see as a “chump”…..
“Hatred of Neil lennon”….. I don’t hate anyone, not in my nature.
I know you’ll just come back at this with more abuse but it says more about you than me.
Personally I don’t think getting hammered by Sparta will have any impact other than the morale of a growing number of supporters looking for leadership either in the dug out or in the board room. Lenny is a giant of a man, in Celtic history, but everyone runs out of luck at some point. We really can’t let sentiment cloud our vision.
Perhaps the board have “conceded” the title already (wouldn’t surprise me as they’re more interested in the Old Firm than anything else ) and will make a change around the time they’re looking to rake in our money, what’s the betting there’ll be a consecutive increase in your season book price as well.
Would any of the above surprise you, nah me neither
8 out of 10 for me with the old pics.
But then again I’m a pup.

How’s this for Gloating, the Daily Record today has a 4 page pull out special called MIND THE GAP which focuses solely on Sevco’s 11 pt lead at the top of the SPFL, playing to the gallery at its finest. Don’t buy it, I never bought it, never do, but had a quick peak while out shopping this morning.
GO TELL THE SPARTIM on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 9:45 AM
That’s my concern. Sevco stroll to the title and we announce someone like Larsson just before season-ticket time…
GEEBEE1978 on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 9:34 AM
You may be right, on second reading of P67’s article, he’s completely written off Europe and focused on the league games.
I feel awful for saying it, but I’ll say it anyway: we need to lose in Prague to have a chance of the 10.
Is there a possibility of a resounding victory and transformational performance where manager and team appear in harmony?
Of course there is, but it wouldn’t say it was probable.
A draw or scrappy win will only paper over cracks and prolong Neil Lennon’s tenure in to December where any dropped points against the diddy teams and a loss at Mordor would seal Celtic’s fate (both are probable on current form).
As I wrote yesterday, the board have until Friday to install a new management team if the season is to be rescued. Sorry to say, this has more chance of happening if we lose on Thursday.
#howdiditcometothis?
There’s nothing I could or would add to the post written by The Prodigal Mountaineer himself.
Wise words, written with passion and substance.
Bless you Chris. Keep the Faith and/but keep telling it like it is.
Neil Lennon, No Title. Pains me to say it. But I’ve been consistent in saying so for some considerable time now.
HH jg
I really don’t think that Thursday will have any bearing on the managerial position at all.
The board will stick with the manager until his position is untenable (which many think it already is). They would maybe even allow him to stay until the season is over.
AN DÚN on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 9:50 AM
That would be understandable and almost acceptable if the sacrifice for Europe was being reflected with a freshness and sharpness in the league. However, getting pumped in Europe as well as seeing Sevco sail off into the distance is creating more disharmony among the support and I would guess, among the squad.
Sevco seem to be able to compete on both fronts right now….most professionals or ex-players will tell you that winning breeds confidence even in other competitions.
Larsson is no fool. He won’t allow himself to be used by Lawwell simply to sell season books. However, there will be some plan needed to maintain decent level season book sales in the event (more likely than not) the league is lost.
Meanwhile Lenny – who will be under instruction by his agent not to resign during the present furore – will likely join Sky for next season. Look out then for the “Coisty & Lenny Show” and and the inevitable hee-haw about who whispered what to whom.
Marco Silva has managed 5 teams in 5 seasons.
Is this the guy we need?
Screaming for the managers head now is a bit like screaming that the ref is a biased hun after a defeat rather than after a victory….. See what should have happened was after Rome…. The ones that wanted him to go should have said…… Great result but he’s not got a fecking clue how to set up a team……. He’s an amateur……. Etc etc etc
We all have as many different opinions on who would be the best man for the job as what our best team is!……. I honestly think someone like Eddie Howe would be chewed up and spat out within 3 weeks here…… No it would have to be a stop gap till May….. Many might not fancy it (that situation)…….. Who would the huns fear most…… Probably someone who still gives them nightmares and cold sweats……..
PHILBHOY on 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 10:07 AM
No, he’s not and he has barely been a success at any of them.
Stephen McGowan and Paul 67 reading off the same script.
Looks like board are waiting until league is lost before acting. When it could be won if they act now
ONIL; your use of one particular word has suddenly bemused me in our quest to go one better than nine:
Un-ten-able.
Tickled me.
Sorry folks but anyone who wants the manager replaced will be
sorely disappointed.
We’ve had the Ferenchvaros debacle
The Huns humiliation and the Sparta thrashing.
If he was going he would be gone by now.
I’m just waiting on us losing to an over 60’s ladies team.
No crowds means no moaning, we’ve got you ST money
so just go away.
Typical of the way the club has been run in recent times.
“If arrive at Ibrox solid in defence, controlling I midfield with an additional 15 points and a fourth consecutive Scottish Cup win, it is game on again, but I doubt any of us are complacent about those 15 points.”
You have to laugh at the above from Paul’s article. Completely detached from reality. We haven’t had a solid defence during Neil’s tenure.
The way things are going we could see a Sevco-esque implosion from us, all before the new year; you could argue that we have already imploded in certain respects.

…………….
Your just another Chump Bitch like a few others on here
The bully is back in
You can’t get past Dorigo
Ach, it won’t do any good but here goes.
It’s entirely one’s right to post on here what is being said by Dave King, Sky Sports, DR, Tomkins or anyone else in the “noise not delivery” sector.
I for one will scroll past it.
I’m not interested in feeling outraged by lazy utterances from Celtic’s enemies.
We know EXACTLY what kind of line they’ll take before they even speak.
IMHO, repeating their output is totally counterproductive.
Drains your energy / gives them energy.
But, it is an individual’s right (and thank goodness for that).
Likewise, I am not interested in those working for our club pandering to the cheap seats with periodic bouts of faux (or real) outrage directed at the yapping dogs of the SMSM.
I’d much prefer they focused on outcomes that matter …..
Like winning a trophy
Or a treble
Or a treble treble
Or a possible quadruple treble
Or nine in a row.
(10 in a row will be difficult and mistakes have certainly been made)
PS – looks like it is “Lennon” now for some?
How long before he gets a “Fraudgers” like moniker?
Hail hail
Keep The Faith
For me it’s the games against Sparta, Milan and Lille that you stress test your defensive set up.
If we can keep the door closed against those sides then domestic football takes care of itself.
Beating St Johnstone and Dundee Utd at Celtic Park proves absolutely nothing.
I think the Europa games are huge for our season.
It’s truly shocking that we’ve regressed to the point where we by pass these games.
An dun
Play 4-4-2 and try and get your defenders and midfield playing as a unit

Good to see you posting.
It’s not often we get posts as sensible as yours so please don’t be a stranger!

If guys think Neil should go,fine,if guys want him to stay, fine,no need for abuse, what’s wrong with some people?
I have stated on here many times that there is no place for guys on here to verbally abuse others.
I have been called ‘A Hun’, “A Chump Bitch”, “Sleekit” etc…..
I respect others posters right to express any opinion they want it just seems that some can only react with abuse/bullying when they see someone post anything that they dislike.
Here here one night – ignore little jimmy
Not posted for a while but thought I would like to add my opinion , as much as I love Lenny I think it’s time up for him & would like to throw a name in the hat Shaun Maloney thoughts ?
