There are parallels between Salzburg and Celtic. After an outstanding season Salzburg lost their coach, Roger Schmidt, in May to Bayer Leverkusen, appointing Adolf Hutter (commentators beware), who previously managed Austrian Bundesliga club Grodig and is largely unknown outside Austria.
Unlike Ronny Deila, Hutter has not tried to change Salzburg’s system, but the period of transformation has been blamed for Salzburg failing to overcome Malmo in the Champions League play-off round (Malmo taxed Juventus in Turin last night before two second half Tevez goals settled things). New instructions, new training techniques and, in some cases, new personnel present challenges.
Ronny has had a few false starts but the return of Scott Brown at the weekend, the return to form of Kris Commons, who will surely start, and the addition of Scepovic, Tonev and Wakaso to the squad give reason for confidence.

Got a nervous excitement about the game tomorrow night. I think we can raise our game to a level beyond what we’ve seen this season, ass we always do against better opposition. Salzburg will be dangerous no doubt but like us they seem to be suffering from a leaky defence. Hopefully we can get the first goal and let’s see how they play when under pressure.
I’d like to see us with three in midfield.

Had a source who could get them for 250-300 euros but after looking at flights and hotels decided against it and me and my bhoy are off to Dortmund weekend of 24th October and got our hotel n flights sorted, they are playing Hanover and Pogmython trying to source tickets for that game.

BTW, a big ( by Arbroath standards) Yes stroll ( it really wasn`t a march in spite of the bagpipes) just went past my place on the Harbour. A few hundred involved and all very good humoured as they passed any No displaying houses.So, for those worried about Civil Disorder, it doesn`t have to be thus. Mind you, I can`t speak for the OO in the event of a Yes victory.
