There are parallels between Salzburg and Celtic. After an outstanding season Salzburg lost their coach, Roger Schmidt, in May to Bayer Leverkusen, appointing Adolf Hutter (commentators beware), who previously managed Austrian Bundesliga club Grodig and is largely unknown outside Austria.
Unlike Ronny Deila, Hutter has not tried to change Salzburg’s system, but the period of transformation has been blamed for Salzburg failing to overcome Malmo in the Champions League play-off round (Malmo taxed Juventus in Turin last night before two second half Tevez goals settled things). New instructions, new training techniques and, in some cases, new personnel present challenges.
Ronny has had a few false starts but the return of Scott Brown at the weekend, the return to form of Kris Commons, who will surely start, and the addition of Scepovic, Tonev and Wakaso to the squad give reason for confidence.

Bawsman 2133:-
You said:- “The level of traffic on electronic media by the nats has been relentless.”
You have a great sense of humour, you clearly do a great line in irony. I think only Ernie Lynch has had more posts on CQN than you over the last 4 weeks and every post you make is either having a dig at independence, and those who would vote for independence, or imploring people to vote no.
Can`t think of there being any Celtic related posts amongst your incessant political stuff on here.
Unionist myth-busting – corporation tax
IMHO
If current rates of corporation tax is for example 10% and a Govt wishes to cut it by say 3% to 7%.
IMHO it is better for the company to pay the tax of 7% than spend a large fortune on lawyers and bankers and creative accountants to look to find ways of avoiding tax when you’re going to be paying not very much anyway.
In other words, it removes lots of red tape and simplifies the day-to-day running of the business and makes the business more efficient and improves productivity.
The UK response of race-to-the-bottom is only accurate in the sense that it means curtains for lots of bankers, lawyers and accountants. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch in my view.
DD,
C’mon pal.
I’m still hurting. Lol
Psg, Maribor, Forrest and bilbao to draw. I almost got a nose bleed picking 4 teams. ;)
Man City yet to cut it in the CL

Just tucked the wee mhan in there ,decided to keep him for a few night (whatever happened to to you will be watching your own weans):))))
He is 4 and at some point in the future he may question why I voted yes and say I was careless, wreckless ,ill informed, negligent . ignorant of the facts, mad and even downwright wrong.
But he will never be able to say I walked with orangemen and Tories when I had a chance to decide.
I can live with that.
good night all
vote for what you think is right and be true to yourself and I hope I can meet each and everyone of you someday at CQN corner at a game after tomorrow without ever mentioning how we voted.
See yous on Sunday and I think the Hoops can nick a narrow victory tomorrow.
Snake Plissen
Another way to put that is the folk who think they have the most to lose vote No and the folk with nothing to lose vote Yes.
I think that is the ugly truth in general terms although I would not rule out a degree of altruism in there but nor do I rule out some kidding ourselves on about motives.
I want a fairer society. For example I want folks to be able to enter retirement gradually with a 4 day then 3 day then 2 day working week without life changing loss of income and I’d be happy to pay extra tax if necessary.
What I would not be happy about is not being able to contribute to such an end at all because my own hard earned standard had fallen below the life changing level.
As I have consistently said everyone depends on one another. Separation is an illusion.
I’d make it no one under 65 should be a politician. :)

A Yes vote is time to bin that pi** for good.
=========================================
I agree with that sentiment, problem is once the YES people are voted in will they treat everyone equally or resort to type.
These are the people who introduced a Bill which effectively penalised Celtic supporters, lets not talk about Patrick Harvies preferred stance on schools, and do you really think Christine Graham will go away?
I wrote recently stating for the first time in my lifetime I felt included but I did not believe it was genuine as I have travelled the length and breadth of this Country and been abused for who I support and what I am,so suddenly all that has changed overnight?
I would love to think so but I fear the opposite.
Its some choice,
NO you side with the Halfwit OO, and the cringeworthy Westminster crowd,or YES you side with the Faith averse Holyrood set, who if voted in will be out their depth in terms of actual implementation of the shakely formatted manifesto.
Its a mess, the OO are opposing those who give them free rein in this country, publicly demonstrating religious intolerance against a large % of the population with little censure, they are really mixed up.
Lets not forget A.Salmond influencing events regarding the National Insitution when in trouble,so all thats changed with wave of a flag.
Dont think so.

Have really enjoyed the debate gents.
Are we on poppies or songs next week?
Has to be songs mate, we don’t do poppies until mid October
Jeepers, but I’ll be glad when the vote is done & dusted but I have a feeling that the hurt will linger for some time regardless of the outcome. Nothing that will be posted here tonight will change a single vote, perhaps its time for all combatants to pull their horns in. At this stage what will happen, will happen, its the aftermath is what is important.
Sleep well bhoys.
Game on tomorrow……
Happy days.
The arguments that were used to keep apartheid going in South Africa are the same arguments that are being used to prevent self determination for Scotland.

I’ve gone through the same trials in my mind that you’ve described in your post. I do think that I’ve finally come to a decision that sits easily on my conscience.
Poppies will not be on sale in an Indy Scotland as they are a relic of a shameful militaristic imperial past – Correct?

The Glorious Balance Sheet.
Twitter is murder. Almost totally taken over by Yes.
Twice I made factual corrections and was subject to judgements of character that whilst totally erroneous were nevertheless intimidating.
I blame it on the impossibility of making ones case clear in 140 characters plus a rush to condemn anyone perceived to be questioning the Yes line.
Frank Ryan – you trying to start a fight???
Well a big day tomorrow I wish I felt more confident but the Bhoys might surprise me.I never feel easy when Celtic are away from home in Europe as we have been the whipping Bhoys so often. I just hope we can play a containing game and hit Saltzburg on the break.H.H.

I have a 4 year old daughter. I agree with your sentiments.
Who knows how it will all pan out in the future. I am comfortable that I will be able to justify why I will vote yes.
Hail Hail and I hope your son doesn’t wake you up too early.
