Deila and Hutter bedding into their new teams

1385

There are parallels between Salzburg and Celtic.  After an outstanding season Salzburg lost their coach, Roger Schmidt, in May to Bayer Leverkusen, appointing Adolf Hutter (commentators beware), who previously managed Austrian Bundesliga club Grodig and is largely unknown outside Austria.

Unlike Ronny Deila, Hutter has not tried to change Salzburg’s system, but the period of transformation has been blamed for Salzburg failing to overcome Malmo in the Champions League play-off round (Malmo taxed Juventus in Turin last night before two second half Tevez goals settled things).  New instructions, new training techniques and, in some cases, new personnel present challenges.

Ronny has had a few false starts but the return of Scott Brown at the weekend, the return to form of Kris Commons, who will surely start, and the addition of Scepovic, Tonev and Wakaso to the squad give reason for confidence.

  1. Ulsan/Black Isle celt. Now then. All I have provided is some statistics that show that while 16% of the scottish population say they are catholics, only 12% of the police force say they are catholics. This is an outcome based statistic (i.e. what happens in reality). If I asked for application details no doubt police scotland will say they dont have that information. I refer you to my answer to malone bhoy. It may well be that less scottish catholics are applying to join the police force but that just means that police scotland should be trying to do something about that? But they dont even look at the measure so obviously they arent?

You are trying to complicate the information. probably because you dont like it.

  3. Hi all. I’m wondering if someone can help me out. I’m trying to buy a season ticket but the number I was given is out of service. So if someone can give me the Glasgow ticket office number I would be grateful. Many thanks wigwam.

The glass used in the manufacture of Alpine “boatles” was recycled from old historic lighthouse lenses………said “boatles” could withstand “drapping” (technical term) from a height equivalent to 2 tenement floors without fracture – although by then the contents would have taken on an unstable explosive quality.

    FACT.

You should answer the Nazi jibes and the people who made them. I did and will call out anyone who disgraces our side of the debate; I am asking the decent Yes voters to do the same with their side. Do not call the man out because of where it is imagined he lives, which was the point I was making re the ernie jibes.

Thank you. The boy voting Yes has similar reasons that you expressed. I wish there were more on your side willing to call out the excesses of the “I can’t understand Tims voting No- they must be Orangemen!” type posts.

I got no facts wrong. I said it was hypocritical to call ernie out on his residential deficiencies to be Scottish and praising Andy Murray who shares them. If you can establish, and you have not done so online yet, that ernie has lied about his residence, then you can call him out as a liar. But he is still as entitled to comment on the Independence issue as kitalba, Snake Plissken, Taurangabhoy, PJBhoyNYC, GerryBhoy, and a host of other ex-pats and Irishmen who have taken positions on “Our” referendum. Can you say with any honesty that you have called for them to butt out as much as you have asked ernie to.

I don’t know if Murray has a vote but he has tweeted, as he is entitled, support for the Yes campaign. I suspect he can afford more than one house- maybe he is still registered to vote here. I was not decrying his ability to vote or comment; I was trying to point out hypocrisy over who we might wish to censor or harass.

That’s not for me to judge? But, rather than leaving it hanging, can you articulate why the reaction is different to the voting intentions of Andy Murray and ernie lynch

Excellent analysis and of all the factors I note the flight from reason is the most worrying.

If I can pick on one thing in terms of association with the OO of a No voter.

When we allow how the OO vote to be the deciding factor on how we vote, we give them indeed hand them power over us.

The result is that no matter the benefits of a No ( although it would seem there are none in spite of EK having at least 2 new secondary and at least 6 new primary schools under the current oppressive arrangements.) a person either does not look at the pluses or does but discounts them because of the same hate of them that they have of us.

I pick this only as a most obvious example of the heart ruling the head.

The ultimate irony is that it is a surrender of the only independence we have- the ability to reason for ourselves.

Once upon the time there was an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically.

    “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. “How wonderful,” the neighbors exclaimed.

    “Maybe,” replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.

    “Maybe,” answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.

    “Maybe,” said the farmer.
