It was déjà vu for Celtic as, one week on from the club’s end of season awards, at the PFA Scotland gala, Scott Sinclair won Player of the Year, Kieran Tierney won Young Player of the Year and Moussa Dembele won Goal of the Season, for the remarkable move away to St Johnstone. All three won the same awards at the club event last weekend.
The PFA also named Brendan Rodgers Manager of the Year, to complete a clean sweep for the champions. Sinclair is the 17th Celtic player to win the top award in the last 21 seasons, a Generation’s worth of Domination………
Brendan Rodgers will be delighted to have picked up three points on Saturday, while giving an outing to teenagers Anthony Ralston and Michael Johnston. Captain, Scott Brown, remains rested by SFA instruction ahead of Friday’s game at Pittodrie, which on paper is offers our greatest threat to invincibility.
I took the weekend off normal duties but read over the blog last night. Many thanks for the kind wishes, they are enormously appreciated. Feel like I’m among friends.

Thirds63. 5.04.
Great post.
That’s the party I want to vote for, that’s the drum Labour should be banging in every interview between now and the election.
Sadly, in my opinion, they won’t hence why once again I will go and vote and write none of the above.
I was tempted to make a joke about banging the drum and the O/O however I decided that would be most unfair to Labour as I think in the last few days information on the blog has shown that all major Scottish parties have some involvement with the O/O and courting their vote.
Hail Hail
Any more on HMRC EMAIL ?
Anything at all about The Huns invading the field of play yet again , from the SFA/SPL ?
Anything on Huns winning the World Cup, The Grand National, the Boat Race yesterday ?

Saw the new Lisbon strip today. Lovely jersey but poor finishing. 90 quid for the elite version and 53 for the one that disny hug the body. I would have thought that the cost of some embroidery to give the jersey a wee touch of class could easily be absorbed into a £90 purchase. For such a commemerative garment I was not as impressed as I should be.
That said I will be buying 4 or 5 for various family members ( of all ages) but I am left wondering what NB would have produced for Real Madrid in similar circumstances. Perhaps someone from our Marketing Department reading this can offer a comment as I am no textile expert and maybe embroidery is more expensive than I think. Just some thoughts.

I asked this before what is the elite strip at £90? I saw a commerative top advertised on the official page for £79.

Condolences to on the passing on your mother.
anybody got a link to md’s goal against motherwell – can’t remember it
Just watching the highlights again on CelticTV.
The corner that Griff takes for Dedrick’s goal is a thing of beauty.
Struck cleanly, almost no arc and moving very quickly into the box!
It’s not just a hit and hope corner. Those two have practiced that I’m sure.
I think Leigh is contributing as much as last year but it’s as a well rounded player
not just a goal scorer. And Mr Boyata is secured in the back four.
The whole team is stronger for it.

Liberal Democrats John MacPherson 1.86% 102 103
Electorate: 18,322 Valid: 5,484 Spoilt: 215 Quota: 1,097 Turnout: 31.1%
In my opinion it’s a mental way of voting as the 3 SNP Candidates in effect ( to some degree) cut each others throats ( maybe I am wrong ?).
Also last Friday I posted that MAYBE the turnout was low, hence why a Tory did well..?…it looks as though I was right as the “Turnout” was only 31.1 %.
The CALTON….Tory..?………….NEVER !
My guess is that many Labour and possibly SNP voters didn’t bother voting ?

According to the Record,Sevco will start the Europa qualifiers with the lowest points of the Scottish teams !!!!!!!.How can that be?.A co efficient of only 3 point something?Shurely shum mishtake.A team with 140 years history, have only,3 point something co efficient..
i think UEFA have got this all wrong. This is not possible.
Not a word from the Record on why this should be,right enough.
Where is the history that Charlie bought?.
I demand to know.
I had a very very quick peek at the hun blog……..
They are speculating on a rumour from a Hun called TED ? ( who apparently hasn’t been wrong very often in the past ?)…..this rumour/info is about MURRAY returning to Ipox ? Cos he made some more money recently.
One Hun commented ” Aye Murray knows what the score is now” !
IMO…given Murray’s obvious lack of memory ( In Court)….he probably won’t remember how to get to feckin Ipox !
HH
According to BFDJ the hun weans are better than our weans, cos they are in a bad team and our weans are in a better team so they look better.

BIG JIMMY on 8TH MAY 2017 6:49 PM,
Its the convoluted way the voting papers are.Gone are the days you put an “X”at the person you wanted to win.Now its second choice,3rd choice, and so on.Not the same in the General election,so lets see who gets in.
MInty will NEVER go back to the huns, he never spent a single penny of his own money first time around and there is not a hope in hell he will this time.
It’s the hope that will kill them again :-)
BIG JIMMY
Sounds like a plant in the dungheap to convince the huns that everything is alright and Murray will be coming over the hill on his white charger so buy yer season tickets hunnies:)))
HUN BLOG…..
another numpty Hun posted of how he met this guy “Ted” a while ago for the one and only time, and “Ted” was having some “Tummy trouble”…..and gave this other Hun his Chicken Pakora….and claimed that “Ted” was obviously a good guy ????????????
Maybe it’s just me….but IF I met a stranger who was eating something and claiming that he had “Tummy Trouble”, and proceeded to give me said item of food….I don’t think I would be calling him a “Good Guy” ?????
It’s not often that I am speechless.

Murray my @rse.Could not ditch them quick enough. You think he will want back into the shambles that is Sevco now?.No friendly banks available now.Only misery from now on.Sir Minty will avoid them like the Plague.
But let them dream of another so called”Sugar Daddy”.How have the rest fared?.One Liquidated them,by proxy, the rest stole all the gullible @rses money.

Michael Johnston,
When I watched young Mickey last week for under 20’s, he was playing outside right, but on Saturday he was on the left…so in effect playing out of position and still played very well.
