DEMBELE GETS GREEN LIGHT

MOUSSA DEMBELE will be fit to lead the Celtic attack in the title decider at Parkhead tomorrow.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed the news yesterday, as CQN reported on Monday.

The French Under-21 international striker sustained an injury in the 4-0 hammering of Graeme Murty’s Ibrox side at Hampden a fortnight ago and missed the 2-1 defeat against Hibs at Easter Road last weekend.

Dembele and midfielder Stuart Armstrong, who has also recovered from a knock, returned to training during the week.

Swedish international right-back Mikael Lustig, who also sat out the loss to Neil Lennon’s men amid tales of a broken toe, is back in contention for a place against the Govan outfit.

Rodgers will assess their fitness before deciding his line-up for the game that could see the champions seal their seventh successive Premiership crown.

Provisional squad:

GOALKEEPERS: Gordon, Bain, De Vries;

DEFENDERS: Lustig, Hendry, Gamboa, Boyata, Simunovic, Ajer, Compper, Tierney, Miller;

MIDFIELDERS: Brown, Armstrong, Ntcham, Rogic, McGregor, Kouassi, Musonda;

FORWARDS: Forrest, Roberts, Dembele, Griffiths, Edouard, Sinclair.
