CELTIC striker Moussa Dembele is poised to be named in France’s provisional squad for their friendly games against Colombia and Russia.
The 21-year-old frontman has returned to form in recent weeks and his goal in the 3-2 win at Ibrox was his fourth in his last three games.
It now looks as though Dembele has played his way into boss Didier Deschamps’ plans when he names his player pool on Thursday.
The Hoops forward, just five goals short of the half-century since arriving from Fulham at the start of last season, has featured regularly for the Under-21 side and netted seven times in 10 appearances.
Deschamps called up the striker for his 30-man squad for games against Wales and Germany, but was cut when the group was whittled down to 24.
France take on Colombia at home a week on Friday before travelling to Russia for a clash on Tuesday, March 27.
