‘DEMBELE IS THE DANGERMAN,’ INSISTS BAYERN ACE

BAYERN MUNICH star James Rodriguez insists his team must curb the threat of Moussa Dembele if they want to overcome Celtic in the Champions League at Parkhead on Tuesday.

The Colombian international believes the comeback Bhoy is the main threat to the Bundesliga outfit in Glasgow.

Dembele, who came on as a late substitute in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock, hit four goals in his previous two appearances against Hibs and Aberdeen.

Rodriguez said: “I have seen images of Dembele and it’s clear he has good quality.

“For us to avoid any problems against Celtic in Glasgow, we have to stop him.

“We know that Bayern are superior to Celtic but we have to demonstrate that on the pitch next Tuesday.

“It won’t be an easy match for us and the result of the first game doesn’t matter now. I expect a tough match in Scotland because Celtic will want revenge.

“But our objective is to win and it’s necessary for us to fight for first position in the table.”

Defender Rafinha says the Hoops’ best chance of success will be on the counter-attack against Jupp Heynckes’ team who won 3-0 earlier in the month.

The Brazilian full-back said: “We respect all of our rivals and it won’t be easy for us against Celtic. Our triumph in Munich doesn’t guarantee victory in Glasgow.

“Celtic will cause us problems and, of course, the atmosphere at their ground is sensational.

“But we still want to be champions of this group, so it’s obligatory for us to get three points against Celtic.”
