DEMBELE REVEALS HIS CELTIC TARGETS

MOUSSA DEMBELE is at the centre of intense transfer speculation, but the Celtic striker insists winning trophies with the champions is his only target.

The 19-goal French Under-21 international frontman is wanted by a host of envious clubs, but the Hoops have admitted even a bid of £20million wouldn’t prise him from Brendan Rodgers’s team.
And that suits the 20-year-old former Fulham attacker. He said: “It’s been a great year, though it could have been better and, hopefully, I can take it into this year.

“My aims haven’t changed since the first day I came in here – they are to win trophies and keep improving. I am young and I keep improving every day so I can just be better and better.

“I went home to keep training as the season isn’t finishing and I came back even fitter than before I left – training is what I love to do.”

Dembele added: “It’s been hectic, so it will be good for us to go to Dubai and be there for a week. We can train and be together. It will be good for the team spirit and we will come back stronger and tighter as a group.
“We have a good group and everyone tries to do their best and there are no egos and it’s nice when you play in a team like this. We have shown that we are hard to beat and no-one in Scotland has managed it yet.”

“Throughout the season we have been fantastic and now we will take a break and come back stronger.”
