Dembele has been a sensation since his move to the Hoops and netted his 13th goal of the campaign with a slick penalty-kick against Motherwell at the weekend. He also claimed a double in the 3-3 Champions League thriller against Manchester City and a hat-trick in the 5-1 pummelling of Sevco Rangers.
“I played alongside Moussa at Fulham and he’s a big talent. A lot of good things have been said about him and I think it’s justified with his ability.
“I knew the first time I saw him that he was a bit special. He was very young at Fulham when I was there, maybe only 18 years old.
“But you could see his power even back then. He’s so strong and he’s got a great eye in front of goal.
“He can bury chances, he’s proved that already this season by scoring goals against City.
“This could be his last season at Celtic, I really believe that. If he keeps scoring goals, with his age, it could well be his last year there.
“Everything is rocketing for Moussa right now. He’s scoring goals for Celtic and the French Under-21 team.
“He’s got a great manager now in Brendan Rodgers, he knows how to keep young players determined and Moussa’s got that.
