CQN told you it was the silly season yesterday when Brighton were linked with a £20million bid for Moussa Dembele in next month’s transfer window.
Today it is Serie A outfit Fiorentina who are reported to be poised to move for the French Under-21 international striker.
Apparently, the Hoops hitman is being closely monitored by boss Stefano Pioli as he looks to add firepower to his squad.
His team are in seventh place in Italy’s top flight, just outside a Europa League qualification place, but have only managed to win one of their last five matches.
Dembele has been attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs with – allegedly – Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Arsenal all said to be keeping tabs on the 21-year-old marksman.
Who will be ready to move for Dembele tomorrow? Which club will be next. Maybe West Ham again? Watch this space!
Someone should start a list!
