JOHN COLLINS insists Jason Denayer could still be at Celtic next season.
The 19-year-old Belgian defender has been a massive hit with the Hoops since joining on loan from Manchester City last summer.
He is poised to return to the Etihad outfit and there have been suggestions his parent club would prefer him to have a season in the English second tier next time out.
However, Parkhead assistant boss Collins admitted that the four-in-a-row champions want to keep hold of the stylish centre-back for the 2015-16 campaign. He said: “Manchester City want to bring Jason Denayer back for pre-season training. There is nothing we can do about that.”He has been absolutely brilliant for us – 19 years of age, he has played with so much composure and, of course, he’s got aggression, as well.
“We are hopeful we can maybe still get him back.”
