JASON DENAYER has taken to Twitter to thank Celtic for a wonderful season in Paradise.
The Belgian defender will return to Manchester City after his campaign-long loan at the SPFL champions.
Denayer, 19, tweeted: “Am amazing season in an amazing club. I have not a lot to say, just thank you for everything. A club like no other, Celtic. Hail! Hail!”
The talented central defender made 29 appearances in the league as the Hoops claimed their fourth successive title and he also figured in the 2-0 League Cup win over Dundee United in March.
Denayer picked up his first full international cap while being voted the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.
Etihad boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted he hopes to integrate the player into his first team squad for the new season.
He has also hinted he may allow him to go out again on a temporary deal, but favours a stint with a Championship side rather than allowing Denayer a return to Parkhead.
