Difficult opening fixtures but no excuses

259

Away to Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Newco in the first round of fixtures.  If you like your season to start with a challenge, you will be happy.  Ange Postecoglou, on the other hand, may have hoped for a more favourable start to the campaign.

No excuses, we have the resources to cope and to go on and win the league.

    JHB aka Jolly Boy John.

Still polluting CQN with your Unionist Filth and Bile.

Why is this Brit Nationalist tolerated on CQN?

He has been banned from most other Celtic sites.

A dangerous EDL type I suspect.

my auld man was born in 45 – guessing he started school in 50 or 51 and if they did the same years in the black and white days, left in 57 or 58. His twin bro would also have been there.

  3. Sturgeon & SNPcult just don’t have an original idea in their heads. It is all about looking to the UK position and ‘Tartanising’ it – and so four weeks from 21 June announced yesterday by Johnson, becomes Sturgeon’s three weeks from 28 June – just as the 21st became the 28th previously.

There are no experts advising the SNPcult – they don’t have any. It’s all about news management to facilitate propaganda…..even during the most dangerous country-wide problem for 75 years.

The CAUSE comes before people, safety, health and the economy every single time.

He was a year older than me. i went there and as a year ahead oh HOTSMOKED.Do u want to give a hint of his name. better still did he play football.

Still puzzled that the Belgian League’s best player – wur estranged defender Jack Hendry – put in such a skittish showing in a somewhat valiant tartan backline (Hanley was strong and dogged imo).

Particularly peculiar that Benkovic – his Jupiter league peer – can’t get off the pine at his club.

    Funny ole game, innit?

I wonder if Ange might be looking at another Jupiter player – Aussie Trent Sainsbury of KV Kortrijk?

Would take him or Benky over Jack any afternoon.

  6. the way some “fans” speak of Neil Lennon reeks of ignorance and sheer entitlement. He is absolutely right, Celtic were treated differently through the whole covid situation – by the government, the league and the media.

You all know if it was Rangers the story is totally different , the government statements are less scathing and the media bring our their Mcoists and Raes to add “reason” .

The hatred and jealousy of Celtic pours its way out from all avenues – Lennon is sickened that fans get on board with the views of walker and Nicholas – two bitter soulless snakes!

Neil Lennon – Celtic legend as both manager and player!

broken record son. celtic open to all, remember that? please stop all this political drivel.

Or is that why you are on here?

ps i forgot to scroll, by, will not forget again

  10. Neil Lennon remains a legend to many if not most Celtic fans.

We cannot now just ignore what he suffered on behalf of Celtic and our cause..

He had to go , reluctantly yes. However we should still heed what he has to say.

We are Celtic, those who would do us harm or impede our progress, we should oppose without fear or favour.

I agree. Not excusing what some fans did, but also think a factor of being locked up fir year during Covid (which I think, if we’re all honest had an affect mentally on everyone with various degrees) losing jobs, family friends ill or worse, not being at games to suppprt and vent too. Frustrated at all the crap that came our way from everywhere basically, which was always going to happen as we searched for the Holy Grail.

Us winning the 10 could have given great comfort to so many in what was a head f#$% of a year.

So the response wasn’t so surprising just disappointing. As they were dissapointed too, in fairness.

    HH

agree that lennon is a legend , no argument there. he is also right that we were treated different, same old same old.

PLC Celtic did not have the balls to address that situation or the referees or anything else. But this new buzzword “entitled” sickens me to the core and do not know any celtic fans using that term.

entitled = celtic supporters who do expect to win every game, tourney , cup, etc but who can see the team falling to pieces, unfortunately under the auspices of neil

My auld man was originally from the Good n the Bad, moved to Barmulloch just before attending St Marthas (then onto the Mungo)

He didn’t play football for any teams as far as I know.

He had a twin bro and 4 sisters.

  14. so NL blaming everyone but himself for us failing miserably in not getting 10 – in- row ,

No excuses, we have the resources to cope and to go on and win the league.

but do we have the coaching staff.

Tell us the 4 sisters names as HOTSMOKED probably went out with all of them .

  19. Pity Lennon never spoke to and encouraged

his players as much as he is doing to the press. Instead of sitting with his arms folded in the dugout.

It was all the fans fault.

  20. ST TAMS on 15TH JUNE 2021 3:45 PM

Pro players shouldn’t need cheerleading from the bench. They had a job to do and failed.

  21. Timmy 7 noted,

I heard unofficially that we had sold less than 20k. This was a few days ago which was an increase on the 11k when first issued.

I would expect better figures as we have signed a new manager. I renewed two days ago and I bet many CQN’ers did likewise.

I would urge all to renew if circumstances permit.

    Cheers and HH.

  22. We underestimate, I believe, what a roar from our support can do when a player is having a ‘moment’ on the park, or an applause from good play, or us calling out linesman and refs.

I only ever boo refs, linesman and opposition, that’s my choice though…..
