Great to see you and BRTH posting again (and even a wee bit of DBBIA). Hard to disagree with you about our former manager. How I wish he had stayed til the end of the season…..Now, I hope NL can bring us the Treble Treble. Maybe that is how it should be, if we achieve it…..

Have to say some of our fans need to calm it down and start being smart,but most of all they need to start being responsible.
Not for the first time this year I go to my seat to find it occupied,” somebody is in mine ” is the stock answer and cop out, as they cannot be bothered either finding the seat or its not close enough to a drum.
Pretty pathetic behaviour and it is getting worse,worst situation I have witnessed was Kilmarnock,the legitimate seat owner being so upset,and the Stewards and Police not willing to intervene,he went in and sorted it out only to get arrested by the previously dormant Police force.
None of that however could dampen a truly memorable result.
I am delighted NL is back,but shocked with the circumstances and stealth initiated by BR,what a betrayal.
That said, dis-appointed to come on here and read about who should take over,bit of a cheek that,NL for the very reason that he without hesitation returned to a situation, and position, which throughout his playing and Managerial career has been made hellish by bigots,yet here he is and we should be appreciative irrespective how things go forward.

Firstly, BR either underestimated the backlash or overestimated his ability to smooth talk his way out of the situation.
Secondly, I’m convinced that had we progressed in Europe he would have stayed to see it through to wherever we could go. Not for us, for him.

The football manager tag is just that, its a tag, head coach is more accurate. Celtic should be able to appoint a head coach who makes use of the existing structure and who is willing to work to the same high standards set i.e. analysis, training plans, style of play, promotion of academy players, signing and developing prospects etc…
I am not sure if lenny is or is not that man for the job but he is in the hotseat right now and he has the chance to show he can do what is expect of him.
The concern about having to build a new squad is being overblown as is the concern about the wage bill. Yes we will need a couple of additions (right back and centreback) asap but a rebuild is not needed. Outside that we will have a string team.

The Celtic support would have been duped into buying these tickets on the back of the Brendan fanfare. Whoever called the price of, or agreed to the price of these ticket’s, was either duped, or agreed to the dupe. Thing is, these tickets might have seemed like gold dust at the time. But now, without the Brendan fanfare, how much are these tickets really worth ? £140 million of unpaid taxes, 20+ trophies ?Maybe it should have been pointed out at the time, that the purchase of one of these tickets, suggests that, the purchaser of these tickets, is recognizing the club from Ibrox as being the same as, the original club from Ibrox, history, stadium, lock, stock, and barrel! And, the case against “Rangers” being a new club, was dead. The o/// f/// game had been given the kiss of life, by duped, cheated Celtic supporters. Duped and cheated by, Dermot Desmond, Peter Lawwell, Brendan Rodgers, Neil Lennon? The “Rangers” saga of, cheating through ebt’s, mibbery, etc, had it’s neck pulled out of the noose, by cheated, duped, Celtic supporters, as they danced along with the Brendan fanfare.
It’s enough to make you sick.

It’s only really occurred to me today that not once did he look animated on the touchline. Now, sometimes, compared to wee Lenny, that maybe isn’t such a bad thing. But, not once, in almost 3 years??
Starts to make you wonder if he was just going through the motions.

Looking for help.
I seem to recall that, over a number of years, Police Scotland filmed crowds at Celtic Park and that some fans were arrested and charged on the back of this.
However, looking online I can find no stories about fans being prosecuted.
Does anyone have a link to at least 1 reported story on this?

When the script is written and the film is in planning — DDL will turn down the role as it is too difficult. He could not out act the bold BR — anything he could do would not have the authenticity and intensity that BR could turn off and on like a tap.
