Scott Brown’s comment that the players will “look to do any talking on the park” is what you want to hear from the captain this week. Scott’s only just returned from a lengthy absence and is yet to get into full flow, but on form, he is the difference between an anaemic and an effective Celtic.
It’s always hard to judge from the stands what a team is missing when it’s off form but it’s clear we need leaders on the park to grab hold of games and dominate opponents. Scott is our most effective player in this role; a lot of responsibility lies on his shoulders in the coming weeks.
Saturday can’t come soon enough. It’s a far more important game than the semi-final I continually see articles on.
I’ve been in touch with three of the Res 12 guys and hope to pick up on this shortly.

A lot of ‘smug on smug’ action going on here today
As I see it, those who thought the board are arrogant are right and those who thought the greater support had no interest in Res 12 are right too.

Looks like gambling against your team, drug taking, not paying taxes, racism, intimidation etc etc etc are all ok in Scottish football. It’s the league where anything goes……

The best bit is – no laughing at the back – apparently the SFA provide a free hotline to report any integrity-related issues, including doping.

After the amount of work and hours you guys have put in to this I am astonished that you are willing to ignore the fact that our own PLC is/has put at risk all your collective efforts by ignoring a UEFA time bar. There is no way on this earth our PLC and its lawyers are or would not be aware of this recent change (last year) to UEFA rules. In fact it is their jobs to be fully informed of the rules (see Legia Warsaw). To put this on share holders after Res12 guys highlight this to them in the knowledge that like the SFA UEFA will deal only with club directly is despicable and highlights only what the PLC truly thinks of you guys – a sore on the soles of their feet.
Yes the problem in the main lies with the SFA and yes it is correct that the focus and light should be firmly shone on them. But surely the obfuscation by our own PLC and the disrespect from them aimed directly and fired like a 22mm from a 45 magnum with a silencer at you guys must have you questioning your position of trust you hold for our PLC? If not then why not? Are you willing to let yours and the work of others over this last couple of years go to waste because our PLC board wish Rangers then Rangers Now Rangers Forever to come back like they had never actually departed?
That for me would be a travesty!

I just thought that I would also preempt what paul67 is going to say about this.
After all he finds himself in an invidious position. All these years has he been leading us a merry dance? Asking us to chase after squirrels whilst helping the board?
Who knows. But his answers and comments on this will reveal the truth.
Shall I predict the responses. Shall we play word bingo?
How about:
– Celtic will be punished for raising legal action against an association (even though no legal action isbeing suggested)
– the club fear for the safety of its employees (even though it can be done secretly and even though suggesting that shareholders do it suggests the board are okay with their safety being compromised – surely not!!!!!)
– the club has received legal advice suggesting any action will not be successful (even though. It’s a secret and the club won’t tell anyone)
But the odds on, most likely bingo words will be
– the club do not wish to prejudice any legal action currently underway and remain errrr surprised at developments
– the club believe it’s in Scottish footballs errr best interests to move on (been waiting on Celtic saying this for ages and don’t worry folks it’s coming)
– the club are only interested in its own affairs and stand alone blah de blah
So ladies and gentlemen. What excuse would you like to place your bets on?

Someone posted on here last night and suggested having a Resolution 12 information leaflet printed and distributed at Celtic Park. As one of the shareholders who put his name towards the Resolution I think this might be the way to go.
I think the information we have at hand should be passed onto the support highlighting the Board’s apparent complicity in allowing the huns and the SFA to get away with years of cheating.
I for one would be prepared to pay towards the funding of such a leaflet and would far rather pay money towards this than another statement about Sevco – that flag has already been planted and I see absolutely no point of doing it again.
The most expensive leaflet is the first one the rest are peanuts after that. I’m sure we could find a “friendly” printer who would do us a deal. I know of at least one “rabid” Tim in the printing business.
My feeling is that this course of action would have two effects. Firstly, it would inform the general support of what has been going on and secondly, it would let the Resolution 12 proponents know if they are actually wasting their time when it comes to the rest of the support.
I’m sure Auldheid and BRTH could draught the leaflet, if they were in agreement, and put this into action when the funding is in place. I can ask my mate how much it would approximately cost to print, say 40,000 leaflets.

I am truly sickened that we appear to be being sold down the river by the present incumbents on the Board. I have always believed we were being cheated but now we all know that we were. Celtic unlike the EPL clubs rely on US the fans to fund them, but even the EPL have “given-in” to the fans. If the fans sit back and accept this they deserve the Club they get and can forget about the Celtic ethos. The Board are quick to accept accolades about the charitable soul of the Club but it’s the fans who do the bulk of charity work in the name of Celtic.
It is time to take our Club back or its soul will be lost forever and it will just be another club.

If the SFA are refusing to answer the Res 12 guy’s questions. Why then are Celtic the member club not asking the same questions which the SFA are duty bound to answer ? Then if the answers are unsatisfactory Celtic go to UEFA .
I am a wee bit out the loop on this one.
Has anyone actually raised Res 12 with SFA and has SFA actually refused to answer questions relating to Res 12.
Or has it done with questions on the above, what it did with my own questions on sectarian and racist behaviour at LC Semi Final last year.
Passed them on to ‘appropriate department@ which has now taken at least eleven months to get back to me.

Team
Management
ELT/board
Shareholders
The Board are therefore way down my attention list
Their job is to run the club to max revenue and fund a successful team. Full Accountability
Ronny has Responsibility to deliver the league title
Fans are Informed as required on decisions to execute this plan
Shareholders wish to be Consulted but it appears only some are listened to
To answer your question, they seem to have played a small number of unhappy shareholders, which breaks the corporate ethical rules.
What we don’t have is the Celtic ELT/Board view of events as published on social media

Earlier this season we played malmo at celtic park … if you were there you will remember that after 10 minutes we were blowing them away at 2-0 …. Joe Hanson then broke through with just the keeper to beat .
If he scores … you know we’re in the champions league. But he hits the keeper and our season and ronnys future turns on that one moment so early in our season
Since then we have flitted between some great football against Dundee Hamilton and Dundee utd. ……. to some woeful stuff against thistle and Dundee.
I know we can play like champions again this season …. the gaffer knows it … the players know it .
