CELTIC’S Scottish Cup Final dress rehearsal against Aberdeen a Pittodrie on Wednesday May 14 will now kick off at 8pm with Sky Sports announcing they will beam the match live.

The champions’ last Premiership away game was due to commence 15 minutes earlier, but has now been pushed back to accommodate the satellite giants’ schedule.

It will be the second midweek confrontation at the venue this season with a Reo Hatate goal proving to be the points-clincher on December 4.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have, of course, already claimed their fourth successive title after the overwhelming 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday.

They are due to make the trip to Ibrox on Sunday, face Hibs at Parkhead a week on Saturday, travel to the north-east to take on Jimmy Thelin’s side in a fortnight and bring down the curtain on another successful league campaign when the silverware is presented on Flag Day against St Mirren in the east end of Glasgow on Saturday May 17.

The attention will then turn to the Scottish Cup showpiece where the holders meet the Dons at Hampden the following Saturday.

Rodgers’ side are bidding for a silverware clean sweep as well as their sixth treble in nine phenomenal years.
