Ashley is one of the last men I would want owning my football club, but he is vastly more capable than those currently in notional charge.
The Machiavellian method – get the board to vote to return your money, or watch them vote to keep you on-side, is a thing of beauty.
Good luck to King, I hope he has the money and wins as much control as he needs.

So after two years with no sponsorship and reduced winnings, the right brand is a High St bookie and the right money is an extra 3,600 going to the bottom club of Div 2 – on a two year deal and 268,000.00 going to the SPFL champions. Well, the good days are here again and well worth the wait.
All that hard nosed bargaining and bluster got the SPFL just what they wanted.
Rejected sponsorship offers?
Because they had their dignity and pride to think about?
