There’s always a bit of trepidation before Celtic play a meaningless game, like they will do in Turkey tomorrow, the propensity to pick up injuries feels higher, although this is possibly not borne out by statistics.
Before Sunday the team look like they needed a break but no injuries, please.
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard allegations that some or other council are controlled by, and for the benefit of, an ethnic or religious minority. This is an old-time prejudice, up there along with allegations of criminality or the personal hygiene habits of the minority. But like Corporation buses, they come in groups.
Anyone can report Celtic for whatever they like, and believe me, many do. Which is a great pity, as there are real targets worthy of attention elsewhere….. For years, while others were buying football bling, Celtic were acquiring land, all appropriately, as is their borrowing. More importantly, they have been able to establish all of this without question. Confirmed.

Picked that fine woman margot macdonald in my taxi the other day and we got talking about the indy vote.
And from someone who is still undecided, something she said stuck with me, with total emotion in her voice she said what will scotland feel like on the 19th if the vote is no!.
Our own people voting that scotland is unable to stand on its own two feet in the modern world.

Land purchased by GCC from Celtic was independently valued by James Barr, Chartered Surveyors & not by Labour/Celtic supporting

For us fholk who live here freezing the council tax has been very significant, particularly if you are finding it difficult dealing with all the Social Security cuts.Your Labour of Bambi Blair and Lord Jack McConnell helped to bleed us dry. The bastion of democracy that Labour promised to get rid off: The House of Lords grew greatly under Labours tenure.
How can you think for a second that what we have is beneficial to Scotland astonishes me. We have no control over monetary policy. No say in defence. No say in Europe or the world. Our fishing grounds are bargained away to let London benefit.
Why only this week Boris Johnson said a pound spent in London is better than a pound spent in Strathclyde.
Trouble is the no vote means no one in Scotland will win. Not even in their petty minded hatred can Labour possibly think we will be better of under London control.
The Yes vote isn’t about Nationalism, it’s about breaking away from the control of London. Getting rid of the stranglehold London has over us.
Let us see a new start. Let us see Self-Determination within an Independent Scotland.
