As a long suffering orchid widower, I know, I know, really! V is up at 05:30 every morning watering the garden with Broony (the dog) in tow. He even knows the routine………
Each Sunday a.m. post watering, God’s gift to me is at the produce market but always, always returns with ceramic pots, plants and flowers for the Our Lady of Lourdes grotto in the front garden…………..
Long for the days when we lived in an apartment (in Dubai)……..Mind you, the balconies still managed to resemble the Botanic Gardens……..

My thinking is Celtic must have enough prime facie evidence on SFA skullduggery to present to UEFA to demand an enquiry.
But we all know what happens when we tackle that lot on a prime facie basis. We need a tape or e mail that Charlotte may provide but are limited til then.
So I reckon that until we get another Dougie Dougie moment the deal is Celtic do not sink the upturned lifeboat on which Scottish football is clinging for life and help paddle it ashore then we try to get offski with a push, cheerio and thanks for the fish rather than be pulled back.
An interesting development and a debate well worth having has been the occasional mention on CQN of Celtic not having a vision behind which supporters can align themselves.
Well apparently we do have a vision and that is ” to be a world class club”.
How many folk knew that? Where is it writ large? But even more important how is that goal, that vision to be achieved?
What can each of us as individuals or groups contribute to achieving that goal?
Can we put our own subjective views aside in order to do what each of us can to make that goal happen and by us I mean the custodians as well as supporters and groups on line or on the ground.
Creating a vision statement is the easy bit. Making it happen takes a structure via which issues can be explored and that bit of capacity building is only getting underway but things are on the move.
Celtic see the support as more than the cash providers that put a team on the park. They see them as a vast resource of experience and competence that could be harnessed to work towards the vision ( well actually I do but have been making the point on very receptive ears).
A couple of new posts under recruitment will go a long way to creating the structure and mechanisms for inter action. We really need not concern ourselves too much about Rangers ( although SFA reform has to happen ) because the Celtic support is an incredibly rich in talent terms, resilient and resourceful field waiting to be harvested.
