Consecutive games against the same team are dangerous, even when you win the first convincingly. We only need to think back to the 7-0 drubbing we dished out to St Mirren in 2009. The Paisley team were so far outclassed they should not have been on the same field as Celtic that day, but a week later they knocked us out of the Scottish Cup.
Hibs were awful in defence on Wednesday and should have done better with the chances they had going forward, but they will have a point to prove this afternoon and can be relied on to fight “tooth and nail” to puncture Celtic’s title credentials.
If James Forrest is able to float into a central position Celtic should have enough, but they don’t have many game-winners like Forrest.

The team overcame this double header problem against St Johnstone and Aberdeen last season.
Hopefully they will do it today. Come on the Celts!

Agree, on the danger of the ole double header, – though we could play the first half as well this time and beat them even more convincingly.

Same game that has been getting played for 100 years, put ball in net win game.Strikers score goals thats why they go for the most money.
Everybody’s doing it, so here’s mine and why,

*Adam Matthews is a good player, but not at left back where he is on the wrong foot, o.k. against bottom of the division strugglers, but not a solution.
*James Forrest rested and wrapped in cotton wool, played a lot of football and Hibs would mark/kick him after Wednesday.
*Long overdue, the introduction Paddy McCourt to the side properly, and nowhere better than Celtic Park on a Saturday afternoon at 3.pm.
*Thomas Rogne survived at Easter Rd and looked fairly solid, time also, to see what he can bring to the back four.
*Charlie Mulgrew restored as Captain.
*From the bench NL to continue using Victor Wanyama as Beram Kayal’s tiredness impetuous play mounts
*James Forrest to replace Paddy when he droops.
*Giorgios Samaras to replace either Hooper or Stokes if and when necessary.
Score prediction Celtic 3 Hibs 0.

Aye…But remember the triple header against Aberdeen last season.
We’ll be OK against a poor Hibs team.

He was excellent last season but has been very inconsistent this season.
Napoli manager publicly accused him of being distracted by all the talk linking him with Inter / Manchester City and Chelsea.

Work nearly done – well, for 5hrs anyway. Come on the Hoops today and get that 3pts. We’ll receive no favours from ANYONE, so we need to build momentum and keep winning for a long as possible.

A win by at least a couple of goals shouldn’t be beyond us today. Use the width and the space, pass through the Hibs defence.
Melbourne Heart giving a not bad rendition of I just can’t get enough.
Although Sydney have just equalized so we won’t be hearing much more of that.
I’m going to get pelters for saying this but up until James Forrest scored the equalizer I was shouting for Neil to make a change and take our young ineffective winger who kept giving the ball away off. It’s a fine line between being magic and tragic. I’m the tragic one in this instance and good on Lennon for sticking with the boy who has undoubted talented but I’m hoping I’m always the tragic one.
Hail hail
Ps just about to watch the Huns have 5 shots on target and win 2—1
It is painful but a reality
Pps anyone see the foul on Stokes that wasn’t given against Murray of Hibs 30 yards out and then the same free kick highlighted on tv was given against Rogne. That’s the decision that are given that can never be evaluated
Collum is the ref at Pittodrie
cannot make it to George Square ,but just had a look on the web cam
it looks a decent turnout on such a drab day

Few hundred here at rally already , plenty of placards
Just waiting for speakers
2 minutes into their game and as it stands they are 11 points ahead of us and we have 2 games in hand.
A day for positive thinking.
