Double-header danger

Consecutive games against the same team are dangerous, even when you win the first convincingly.  We only need to think back to the 7-0 drubbing we dished out to St Mirren in 2009.  The Paisley team were so far outclassed they should not have been on the same field as Celtic that day, but a week later they knocked us out of the Scottish Cup.

Hibs were awful in defence on Wednesday and should have done better with the chances they had going forward, but they will have a point to prove this afternoon and can be relied on to fight “tooth and nail” to puncture Celtic’s title credentials.

If James Forrest is able to float into a central position Celtic should have enough, but they don’t have many game-winners like Forrest.

Correct me if I’m wrong the Huns had 3 shots on target including the penalty and not including the header that went over the bar

I’m sure they had similar stats last week.

So Celtice fans don’t be fooled they are rubbish and no one ever mentions those stats.

Anyway I’d rather watch us than them they are Fiji ki rubbish and horrible

    Hail hail

I saw a bit of the second half. Same as last season they are efficient in front of goal. Don’t tend to make many chances but they score from them. However – there will be days when those few chances don’t go in.

Much as some of us like to panic when they win, I, like you, am fairly sure they are not the great team some people like to make them out to be.

One thing I do notice when watching them is that they protect their centre halfs better than us.

Another thing – teams do not put their back four under any where near the kind of pressure our bhoys come under (reputation has perhaps helped them there?)

And finally – any sniff of the opposition getting a break forward when they lose possession cheaply and one of them gets a ‘head knock’

Well ok, not quite finally – they also seem to have tonnes of energy just after half time. I suggest teams try 10 minutes of kick and rush against them at the start of each half. get them turned, get them using their running to go back the way.

Oh aye, and empty Jellyfish early on in each half.

How can someone be yellow carded for kicking an opponent off the ball….

Straight red for violent conduct every single time…Disgraceful ref display..

And as I understand, as he has been punished he will not be subject to video review.

Perhaps I am wrong – can anyone confirm.

Derek Riordan has gone missing from his club in China.

Is this a revenge tactic for Zheng Zhi going missing from Celtic these days?

He should be fairly easy to spot.

First up, check the night clubs/ bars. Second, look in the night clubs/ bars for the peely wally white guy with a silly hair cut and who doesn’t look like a professional sports person.

Third – well, steps one and two pretty much find him…….

Waste of a great talent young Del.

  6. CELTIC (4-4-2) Forster; M Wilson, Rogne, Mulgrew, Matthews; Forrest, Kayal, Ki, Ledley; Hooper, Stokes

  7. Right, stuff to do.

    Hope we do well today.

Oh, I hear it’s now 4-3 to the Arsenal.

Phil Neville was moaning about the dreadful defending in the EPL this season.

AS a result Goain and Bocanegra are surely EPL bound in January such is their majestic poise and presence and general invincibility in the heart of the glorious Orc defence. I am told they can also arrange pre packed administrations and legal defences against HMRC.

What a daft debate on Radio Scotland.
