DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR RODGERS, ARMSTRONG

CELTIC just keep on winning, despite enjoying a three-week winter break in Dubai.

Manager Brendan Rodgers and Stuart Armstrong picked up the December Manager and Player of the Month awards after a fabulous month in which they won all eight league games in succession.

The Hoops boss and the on-fire midfielder have been rewarded for a run of form which also saw a 1-1 draw at Manchester City to conclude their Champions League campaign.

Former Dundee United star Armstrong, who arrived in a £2million double deal with Gary Mackay-Steven two years ago, has undergone a remarkable transformation under Rodgers in the past three months and was a clear winner in the Player of the Month category.
