IRISH hitkid Michael Duffy is set to join Celtic after Derry City agreed an undisclosed fee with the SPFL champions.
The 20-year-old striker was rated at around £250,000 by his club after two successful trials at Ronny Deila’s outfit.
Duffy is understood to be currently discussing personal terms with the Parkhead side.
The player, who netted 15 league goals for Derry last season, also spent a week on trial with Championship side Brentford, who were keen on offering him a deal.
But it looks as though the Hoops have won the race for Ireland’s hottest property.
