‘DUNDEE CAN BEAT CELTIC – IF WE PLAY LIKE PSG!’ DENS STAR

1

DUNDEE attacker Faissal El Bakhtaoui believes his team will beat Celtic in the League Cup quarter-final tomorrow night – all they need to do is play like Paris Saint-Germain.

The Tayside star was at Parkhead last week to see the megastars of the French giants triumph 5-0 in the Champions League encounter.

El Bakhtaoui admitted the clash gives Dundee hope as they attempt to shatter the Hoops’ 55-game domestic unbeaten run.

He said: “I was at the PSG game after Scott Allan got me tickets and I went along with my friend.

“PSG are a great team and produced one of the best performances I have ever seen. To be fair to them, PSG have some really good players.

“It just didn’t happen for Celtic on the night. It is not often you go to Celtic Park and see a team exploit Celtic’s weaknesses like PSG did.

“Watching the match gives teams like Dundee some hope. We know Celtic are beatable.

“Now Dundee just have to play like PSG!”

El Bakhtaoui added: “Seriously, though, it is going to be a very tough tie because Celtic are the best team in Scotland and we are facing really good players.

“I would like to think Celtic would maybe change their team around a bit as that would give us a better chance of succeeding in the Cup game.

“But it doesn’t really matter who Celtic bring in to play against us as they have quality players all throughout their squad.”
