    Looking forward to the game today on TV where we’re certain Neil Lennon will likely field a few bhoys and fringe players, with the league already wrapped up. It’s been a typically dissatisfying week for the champions in MSM land thanks to axe murderers Leigh Griffiths and Beram Kayal.

    I disagree with Neil Lennon frequently with his dealings with the press I disagreed when he said a certain tackle was fair, and still do, and Celtic’s player ‘employee code of conduct’ is irrational and inconsistent.

    You could be forgiven for thinking we are visitors here and must behave whilst we are playing in someone else’s league, or else we’ll be told to go home? MSM were sharpening their pens before the ink was dry on Griffiths contract and hey presto, a raft of goals later – “it’s one more strike and you’re out Leigh”.

    All nonsense of course, study the Lee McCulloch tackle it may or not have started out fair but it didn’t end that way, for sure. His boot was raised and he went over the ball. Beram has had a long list of injuries at Celtic but he was unwise to have raised the matter this late, if only for the fact it allowed MSM to run to Sallary of Division Two to join his new club, with the old one that used to injure Celtic players.

    The Celtic media team needs fortified and to become more robust, we’re still too soft, and CEO surreal jokes are o.k. in the code of conduct, and can get by Vincent Lunny but not enough for disenchanted Celtic supporters who were cheated here, and will most likely, be again.

    On today the Celtic end is sold out, so there must be experience in the side, and experiments are for pre season, but I hope NL has made up his mind about who’s in and who’s out by now, and no call up for departees.

    Delaney’s ….

    Had a great day at Aintree yesterday and bet 3 winners.

    Also got the placepot up but no idea what it paid yet but can imagine it will NOT be massive as lots of fancied horses were placed.

    Collect it from the fat bookies then off to get mashed watching Villa in a Staffordshire swally den with an ahem…,cough cough…..,video stream.

    Still half pissed and listening to Sandinista by our Mighty Clash boys,

    Hail Hail…..have a great day my man.

  4. Wonder if Pistol Pete has done a Bob Kelly on Lenny and picked the team today?

  5. Brown to right back and Efe at centre back is a sensible move. Efe at right back looked shaky but so much more secure alongside VVD.

    Don’t agree with dropping Griffiths, but that is the managers prerogative. Sammy starting is ok as long as it’s the real slim shady that stands up.

    Well. it appears that Sammi, may be Staying,after all..

    :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Commons :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Samaras :::::::::::::::::: Stokes ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    Very happy to see Sammi in the team – possibly our best player v Dundee Utd away.

    I’m not much of a fan of Kayal, and he has been poor lately whenever he’s had the opportunity to impress, but he’s another who plays well at Tannadice, and who knows? A boost to his confidence and we may find we have a ‘new’ player pushing for the 1st eleven.

    LONG RUN ……get yer money on that horse…

  10. Kojo,

    Usually respect your opinion and some of your stuff makes me laugh.

    But….pray tell….

    Which current Celtic player is better known in Europe than Sammi?

    Fraser Forster maybe as well known after his performance v Barca…..but go on name another one as respected by opponents than our Greek Ghod?

  11. I love Sammi. If he stays I’ll be delighted, if he goes, he will go with my best wishes and with the fondest of memories. However if he is definitely going, he shouldn’t be playing.

    I’d be delighted if Sammi did stay, especially if he rediscovered some of last seasons European form.

    He might have to get used to not getting a regular start but he would be useful in certain situations.

  16. !!Bada Bing!! on

    Too much dirty washing getting aired in public for the appeasement of the lapdogs.Brand Celtic is all that matters to PL.

  17. glendalystonsils on

    Meant to add, sammi seems to be very much a confidence player and an extended contract might put him in a happier place.

    Neil why ?

    Couldn’t care who comes 2 nd in the SPFL, so give some of those coming through and committed to the Bhoys a chance in last 6 or after today 5 games

    Still will give all the Bhoys 100 % support on the pitch
