Very frustrating stuff. We have them on the ropes but the killer touch is not there.

Think we may have to score 3 times to win this as I have a bad feeling we may concede again.

Why do halfwits say not a penalty because JG was not getting ball.. it has NOTHING to do with it. If he wasn’t then why foul him? A penalty even if ball if 50 yards away. Hun bastard ref

    Kirk Broadfoot.

  3. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

Our striker problem still not solved, balls flying across the

    goal,naebody there.

  4. HT Dundee Utd 1-0 Celtic

Missed the first 10 mins – what I saw for 35 mins was good. Celtic controlled the game but we have struggled to create clear cut chances. We have to be careful when Virgil breaks up filed because we are leaving ourselves short at the back, but Efe looks solid. All the players working very hard, especially Broonie in midfield. DU not getting any time at all on the ball.

Izzy and Mathews have both been getting forward well, but the balls into the box need to be better. The only disappointment so far has been James who has done very little. Other than that I wouldn’t look to change anything – we don’t deserve to be behind.

  5. A game where we dominate in all but the score but some of us are desperate for a scapegoat- step forward Nir Bitton.

The wind will hold the ball up in the 2nd half, will suit us.

WGS calling the penalty right. He was another scapegoat wasn’t he?

  6. RD’s needing to show some cojones and get rid of Broony.

But, who’d be daft enough tae buy him?

Why does JF not get a ball to run onto, instead of getting the ball with his back to goals and, 3 or 4 hulking brutes waiting to chop him down – knowing they’ll get away wi it?

Mibbery is what makes our victories all the sweeter – overcome them or, play for a team that gets mibbery backing ie: any team that disny play in green & white hoops.

Still saying 1-2 for the tic.

    laters…..

  7. Missed the first 10 minutes and am astonished on the balance of play that we are not at least level. We are playing pretty well and I believe that the goals will come despite McLean playing a blinder for them.

Sooner or later our pressure will tell on them and we will get the rewards our play will merit.

  8. Apart from the pathetic defending of Ambrose it all started with Johansen,s poor pass in midfield.Ambrose keeps making mistakes in practically every game some he gets away with some not.We cant keep playing him.

  9. saltires en sevilla on

Ref giving us nothing but that should not be any surprise

It’s games like this that our newer players learn the need to keep the heid up and make as many chances as possible

Don’t let the bassas grind ye down

Every goal lost is usually down to a mistake – that goal was lost farther up the pitch

Gordon calling it a penalty – defender wrong side- penalty! Sounds about right wee man –

    good un our Gordy

  10. Great coverage I’ve got

    No half time pundits

Just a single camera shot from behind the goal

    Watching the sub’s warming up

Listening to the music playing on the tannoy

    Gretnabhoy,

Sutton is a professional and will play to any crowd

  12. It’s a funny old game. We all see it differently. Some think Stokes is having a great game. He’s certainly trying hard but his selfish decision making is predictable. Others slam Bitton. I think he’s a class act. He breaks up their attacks and prompts ours with good distribution.

Best bet might be to call the ticket office tomorrow.

    Hope you enjoy the game.

  14. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon ....The angels are with Wee Oscar in Heaven.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

Think Sutton’s just trying to be controversial for the sake of it ……Guidetti WOULD have got that Ball…..Defo pen, as WGS says

  15. Is Sutton deliberately trying to wind us up?

Used to love the Big Mhan.

    Not now.

Is it just me or did he imply JG went down easy?

    WGS puts him straight

  16. Goldstar

You stop coming on here and posting sensible comments.

    Nobody needs a smart Alec.

    We want to blame someone!

  17. We should have had another penalty when Virgil was pulled before we hit bar. Let’s keep it going, we’re playing well.

  18. Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo on

A bit more composure especially from our midfield and we should win this.

Bring on Leigh Griffiths for Wee James at 70mins.

    Our crossing is atrocious.

  19. Efge showed 3 years ago against Rubentus that he does not have the discipline or decision-making prowess to play in a back four.

He does, however, have athleticism and a defensive mindset that makes him a potentially superb defensive midfielder sat right in front of a back four who can mop up his ubiquitous errors.

Yet consecutive managers play him at that crucial centre back position. and time again he makes vital slips that would be nothing with cover behind him.

Crazy how football professionals cannot sometimes see what’s staring them in the face.

  20. Wee Gordon Strachan as always sticking up for the hoops and calling it as it is….

    Hail Hail wee man. .

    Ayrshire is Green and White

  21. If we play as well in the second half and get a break if the ball we will win this comfortably. My only concern is that it turns out to be one of those days where nothing goes right and becomes very frustrating.

  22. Really enjoying this game. We are playing some really good football and just need a wee bit more composure / luck and we’d be well ahead.

  23. We are playing well.

Decision making letting us down a bit, from our players and the ref.

Can’t do anything about the ref so we need to show a wee bit more composure and stick a few goals away to sicken him.

  24. The No.13 Shorts on

Efe Ambrose must be the worst kind of team-mate defender for a goalkeeper. He is cumbersome; continually appears to make dangerous decisions when a simpler option is available; and to have a false sense of his limited abilities. He seems to me to play to his own weaknesses in some sort of naïve attempt to ‘learn on the job’. He must instil absolute mistrust and panic in Craig Gordon.

  25. Richie #TeamOscarForever on

Sutton claims that JG wasn’t getting the ball, “that’s why he went down easily”

    another Jim Goodwin

  26. Watching a dutch commentary so do not have the benefit of expert analysis on the commentary. I assume the penalty discussion was the Guidetti clash in the box. If that was given against us I would not be happy.

  27. Gordon Strachan, the best pundit on tv, although Willie McStay offers a great insight and sounds like someone who knows what he’s talking about.
