    Boyd joins the long list of arses employed by Sky to placate their hun viewers and irritate Celtic supporters. he has not one shred of credibility as a pundit although neither has McCann, Walker, Nicholas etc.

    Hard to argue with the team selection given injuries and form of those on the bench.

     

    I don’t think any on the bench have done enough to say they are significantly better than those starting…imo of course.

     

     

    Some on here seem to be unhappy with what they see as us going with one upfront.

     

    I see it as two upfront – but JK hasn’t been impressed enough by Ajeti, Klimala or Griffiths from what he’s seen when they have been given the chance. He’d rather go with Elyounoussi as the second forward alongside Edouard.

     

    I can’t say I blame JK for starting with ME upfront. The 3 forwards on the bench have all disappointed when in the team. None have done enough to say they’ve earned the right to start, imo.

     

    So JK starts with our 2 TOP goal scorers upfront today. Fair enough in my book.

     

     

    Christie gets the gig in right midfield. Not ideal, but we don’t have ANYBODY sticking out as a stick on for the wide right berth. So again, no issues from me in selecting RC.

     

     

    Soro for Brown would be an obvious choice for some. Either or for me. If Soro isn’t getting starts at this stage, it suggests he’s not going to be first choice next season, and they’re no long term gain from starting him? Maybe we’re going to look for another replacement for SB next season?

    Poor poor season right enough , but our absent landlord got what he wanted the rangers with there long history back as a force ,Him and his lackeys have put us in free fall . I dont know what the plans are for next season but a complete overhaul of the club is a must . They have been given a lifeline and they will make the most of it . Myself and many others on here said the only threat for the ten would be from within and so it turned out . Wait and see we will be promised the moon till we buy our season tickets ,and then we will be let down again with mediocre managerial appointments ,and wee cheap average buys . The other mob did not to bad for being skint did they .

    The managerial appointment is important but, in the immediate future, winning today and next week are the immediate targets. Then, we need a good SC run to finish the season on an upswing,

     

     

    I don’t think Jamesie will be ready for a full 90 minutes today or against Sevco but it’s good to have him back.

     

     

    I saw Adam Montgomery lsted as a striker too and posted this info last week. John Kennedy, however, stated in his pre match talk that Adam was a left back, which makes more sense.

     

     

    obvioulsy, John is one of those modern tactical coaches who can re-think the game. Combining the LB and striker roles will take most teams by surprise 😀

    We all now know that Eddie can’t do a decent job up front on his own, wonder who will partner him from our plethora of strikers on the books……..

    Was really Hoping that John Kennedy would select a side which reflected his own thoughts but no, it’s just a Lennon side with once again 3 strikers on the bench. What’s the bet David Turnbull will be subbed by Soro after 70 minutes.

     

     

    Was really hoping for Luca Connell to be included today.
