  1. Radio 4 on BBC Sounds App at 11.45am today. 15 minute listen.

The Battles that Won Our Freedoms. Episode 7, Catholic Emancipation.

In this episode, Phil Tinline asks Professor Marianne Elliott to tell the story of Daniel O’Connell’s long struggle in the early 19th century to free Catholics from old laws which stopped them becoming going to university or participating fully in British public life, culminating in the Roman Catholic Relief Act 1829. Siobhain McDonagh MP reflects on what O’Connell’s battle means to her, and explains why she campaigned to lift a restriction left over from the 1820s that remained in law throughout the 19th and 20th centuries

every non essential shop owner in scotland should open their shops tomorrow (with distancing rules obviously) and see what the police do

use videos of the lack of police and government action against this weekends Klan behaviour in court if the police come calling

Why did the FM feel the need to congratulate the Huns title, didn’t do it to our previous ones

  5. !!Bada Bing!! on

Celtic Shop in Argyll St attacked,no surprise..must have caught the police on the hop there.

Surely the club will appoint a management team that will get us back on track next season.

And someone at the club debunk this 55 rubbish too. It’s criminal that they’re getting away with fantasy unquestioned.

  7. lets all do the huddle on

Why did the FM feel the need to congratulate the Huns title, didn’t do it to our previous ones

unbelievable she said that in the same message as telling them to stop breaking lockdown rules.

so she is treating lockdown as a triviality

    hence, its over.finito.

everyone go back to normal tomorrow

apart from me going back to work. fk that 😄

  8. Does anyone have any evidence of Sturgeon congratulating Celtic FC on any of our achievements? Ever?

As a Labour-turned-SNP voter, I can’t vote for any party in all consciousness

    aye

couldnt expect the police to think in advance that shop might be attacked. its not as if its happened before

    🤦🏻‍♂️

  10. Ray Winstone's Big Disembodied Heid on

According to John Kennedy…………………… ” We’ve not been good enough ”

Well who’s fucking fault is that ? And why would anyone approach a game against a much weaker opponent with only one striker and then compound it with ludicrous substitutions, taking off the best player on the park, never mind continuing with a rapidly aging and failing midfielder, whilst a much sharper and on form player warms the bench?

I begin to wonder whether it has been Kennedy who’s been picking the team and dictating the “tactics” all along.

    Not a fucking clue.

And BTW don’t worry about red carding me for bad language, I’ve barred myself.

Wee Nicola showing her true blue colours again today.

As for Police Scotland, they’ve got a worse defence than us.

i dont think she really knows/bothers/understands much about the football situation

    yip

your sons are in the same position as me

because at least 1 of your parents were born on the island you are automatically an irish citizen so no need for you to register on the foreign births register

but your sons do, as do i, and because of covid the process has ground to a halt

    HH to you also

The Bigot/Blue Pound is the two in the bush which our custodians have gambled our core support-income on.

They have gambled that we will put up with their antics of keeping that mob alive as a means of ensuring the maintenance of the business model.

Of course when the top tier gets closed behind both goals after we lose 20k STs this summer then they’ve backed a loser.
