  1. Our record from corners is poor buy Kyogo missed a sitter from a well worked one in the first 5 minutes

  2. SAINT STIVS on 5TH DECEMBER 2021 7:32 PM

I don’t think we’re going to get more clinical, I don’t think our players have it in them. Except maybe Jota, but even Kyogo isn’t a natural finisher.

As long as we carry on creating as much as we are, and are as good defensively as we have been lately I think it’ll be good enough

And we’ll done to the ghirls today

    Yup, well done to the lassies in hoops! 👏 🍀 🏆 ⚽ 🎆 🎉

I don`t know the words to `roamin“ etc so would anyone like to inform me of them so that I can either be offended by them or critical of those who are?

  5. A big thing for me that ive noticed in last few weeks, Taylor, Rogic, Starfelt been out for weeks, when picked to start, they are match fit,and up to the speed of the game, sometimes you would see guys coming back from injury, and thought that they need a couple of games…..definitely doing something right behind the scenes IMO

  6. Leicester conceded two more goals from set pieces today, that’s ten in total this season in the EPL, joint top with Palace

All this despite having a set-piece coach for a year

We seem to be doing ok these days without one

  7. I have criticised Mikey on a few occasions because, apart from his original introduction a few years ago when he looked a future superstar, he has, when fit, only flattered to deceive. However I noticed a wee difference today. In my opinion he is lacking in confidence and perhaps a few starts in Jota’s absence might be the spark he needs. I would like to see him score soon – it would do him the world of good.

Greg Taylor’s a good player – many don’t fancy him, I do, and so does Ange I think.

We were again profligate today, however we were good overall, with the ball & without it. Our fitness also caught my eye. More of the same in December will ensure that we’re no further back when ‘they’ come calling on Jan 2.

  8. To think some on here wanted McGregor hunted at the end of last season, the Bhoy is by far the best player in Scotland

  9. Superbru Update

Joint winners this week with a very creditable 12.5 points were Cosy Corner Bhoy and Greenpinata. 4 predictors were in joint 3rd with 11 points (Gene, Frank Terry, fess19 and Leggy).

At the bottom gscbhoy managed to achieve bottom place ahead of raplochbhoy even though both failed to put in a prediction (don’t know how that works)

In the overall race, Call Me Gerry has a 5 point lead over Bateen Bhoy who is 2 ahead of the 3rd placed Greenpinata.

At the bottom, wee BGFC has a healthy lead over The Lurkin Tim and gscbhoy.

There is a midweek game on Wednesday, Livi vs Hibs (if you have not yet predicted this one or wish to change your original pick you can do so before 7.45 pm on the night). Otherwise the deadline is 2 pm next Saturday.

    Thanks again for your support.

  11. Suddenly, ( and not getting ahead of myself ), the December fixtures are looking less fraught.

Realistically, our best chances of gaining on The Darnel are the 12th, when they visit Gorgie and we are home to the Steelmen, and the 29th, when they visit Pittodrie and we are home to Hibbees.

More injuries could derail this rosy picture, and reinforcements are definitely needed in January.

Great day that day at Hampden.

Great day today though also. Yup < 10,000 so no passport nonsense.

Crowd were incredibly vocal. Regardless of views on the vintage retro songbook. Probably to the fore for the reasons Saint Stivs suggested. As a wee protest / attention grabbing exercise. Still it was a great performance from the start to finish.

From tomorrow same at bigger grounds just like rest of UK. So just as I have been doing I will do my wee lateral flow test before going along.

  13. Final moan of the day — the SPL going back to 3 subs.

    Why / Why / Why …

Nobody else has made the change back.

Surely not a TFOD2.1 friendly decision based on the perception that we have or would have the bigger / better squad?

… Delilah — for the TJ fans amongst us.

  14. BACK TO BASICS – GLASS HALF FULL on 5TH DECEMBER 2021 8:07 PM

Now I can see why so many are up in arms. Thank you.

!BADA BING!! on 5TH DECEMBER 2021 8:21 PM

    ••••••••

    Spot on Bada. 👍

Taylor exposed to everything in front of him, made him look vulnerable even weak.

Taylor at Killie was protected along with the rest of Killie back 4, because Steve Clarke put a bus in front of them all.

Ange seems to have worked a formula were, no matter who’s out injured or missing, the replacements will fit like a glove.

    That’s superb management from Ange.

    Long may it continue.

    hh

  16. Loved that performance today…….if only more chances were converted ….as for the songs …its mostly an age thing…I think a lot of it is to wind the huns up …….roaming in the gloaming is definitely for another time

I honestly can’t get upset at …the merry ploughboy…..BOTOB…..etc …..there has been an upturn since huns running amok……that’s the impression I get……

  17. Good reading back how almost all of us are chuffed with the reign of Ange.

Seems to be getting what he wants out of the coaching squad as he is the playing squad, too.

No-one was saying to entirely ban our choir from singing but if we want to occupy the ‘we’re not half of anything’ bit, our vocal minority shouldn’t be casting the majority of us as a sorta mirror image of they broomloan bawbags.

Also wanted to share I’m super-proud of Mrs Quad; she ran a 50km ultra-marathon yesterday. Her first words as she got up this morning was ‘What’s the Celtic score?’ ;)
