Fundamentally Celtic don’t have enough physicality, aggression and height throughout the team. Lots of nice football played by Celtic till we run out of steam.

I don’t know anything about Wilfried Nancy as a manager or coach, he seems a decent enough man and I feel for him going through this extremely rough time. He appears to be failing where Martin O’Neill succeeded with the same set of players.
At Nottingham Forest, Martin learned a good part of his trade with the Brian Clough, Peter Taylor combination, where Taylor did the coaching and Cloughie did the motivational stuff. Martin, at Celtic first time around, left the day to day coaching to Steve Walford, ably assisted by the jovial John Robertson. However, O’Neill’s strong point was his knowledge of his players, their total respect for him, and his uncanny ability to motivate them and make them believe in themselves as individuals and as team mates. He showed that with the right man-management skills one can achieve greatness. Martin had them in abundance.
In his second coming he was assisted by Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham on the training pitch and we witnessed the mostly positive results. Players seemed to accept additional responsibility, going the extra mile for those guys. Can we say the same for Wilfried and his staff? Time will tell. I certainly hope so…
In terms of importance of football I had a regular check today on a cancer that treatment over 3 months cleared in February.
Still all clear.
That is what really matters in the game of life.

A few years ago I got talking to a referee supervisor in Mansfield. O Neil was at Celtic.
This guy told me that after a game MoN had nothing left to give.
He had not enough energy to loosen his boots.
You can imagine what he looks for in a footballer.
Auldheid – brilliant. Correct! More power to you.
On the comparatively trivial matter of football, Yamada’s glaring miss sums up the Board strategy. Having produced a lovely flick to create the chance he snatches at with the outside of his right foot with the goal gaping. The man he replaced would gave taken the ball closer and coolly stroked it home.
But this is the dreaded ‘model’. Sell quality, replace with crap, pocket the difference. Everyone could see the consequences way in advance which explains the anger now. Meanwhile the venal jokers responsible have the chutzpah to serially attack the very fans they’re stiffing.
why did bernardo get taken off?
he was our best player.
why does he not play every game?

totally torn on this. If Maeda, yang and Kenny take their chances In the first have we would be going in at HT 4,5,6 ahead. We tore them apart. For some strange reason United decided to sit off us and not pressure our back line.
Nancy , Pep, Mourinho, rodgers, MON – could not make those players score those goals (Maeda 2nd half sitter – dearie dearie me) – Not on Nancy – Thats the poor quality we seen since Rodgers and Martin O’Neil.

2nd half – THE GOALS WERE COMING FROM UNITED – We could all see the pressure the back lines was under – Pusey , Donovan, Dane Murray , Scales – could have strengthened but Nancy cant see it.

These players have ran themselves into the ground these last couple weeks – had to endure the psychological challenge of 3 managers in as many months – and they get to listen to that filth !!

There’s been a few well placed comments about the physicality of our team. Some simple comparisons to emphasise this point…
Trusty & Scales v Bobo & Mjallby
Kenny v Sutton or Hartson

Engels or Hatate v Lennon or Lambert

Even Schmeichel v Boruc
Every time the opposition gets a corner you expect them to score.
Every time Celtic get a corner you just know that they won’t score… but that the opposition may clear it, break up the pitch, and nick one themselves!
MON did talk about a lack of power in the team – Hope this message has been heard by Tisdale and Nancy.
I talked live to many people that were at at Tannadice tonight. and, they said the atmosphere was poisonous. This will continue unless real change is evident. Blame whoever you want, green brigade, fans in general or BR. But, the majority now see this as board/management failure, And, it is hard to argue against that.

Our club is now at a crossroads.
I was there in 94 when the we ousted the old board. And, I have been away from the blog for many years.
IMHO the balance has now been tipped within our support and the board seem to be the major problem.
There is a change required. I will not comment on threats or abuse as I have not seen any evidence in the case for/against our chairman.
However, safety of you our your family is the most important thing in life.
I will never accept that one Celtic supporters opinion is of less value than any other.
I treat every Celtic supporters view equal.
If there are any lurkers/ associates on this blog that have an ear to DD, I would say in IMHO remove everyone. Start with a blank Canvas. Do not employ bean counters in a football environment ever again, that have no experience of football. It is a failed strategy. Bossiness is different from a football club.
Or just bunker up for what is coming.
We are a broad church. A divided house cannot stand.

Unsure on how Nancy can defend himself in front of his superiors. Four losses. No signs of improvement. In terms of stats, everything must have decreased. Players values must be decreasing by each match.
Its almost school ground tactics. Liam Scales playing LWB or somewhere there abouts on the edge of their penalty box leaving a gaping hole in the back.
We have MON waiting on the sidelines ready to step in. Terminate Nancy now.

However I would like to say we gave him our full support as a Celtic manager but it didn’t work out.
We part company having given it our best shot.
No chance of that.
That was absolutely embarrassing from a ” support” who sing ” Faithfull through and through.” . But only when we are continually winning

Who is to say that if a large section of our ” support” got their wish and MON returned and did not achieve instant sucess , then the same ” support” would trash him and his legacy.
Unpalatable I know, but that is where we have reached.
Second half support and songbook was pretty embarrassing last night.
Important that we separate that from the dysfunctional on field performances.
However poor the chants are, they are a reaction to the dreadful results, not the cause of them

I’m getting this in early because I’m not coming on here later to read about the beatification of Peter Lawwell.
Like, Lawwell, I’m not sure I wanna stick around for the final stop of this season.
WN will crash and burn as inevitable as night follows day, we’ll be told by the club that this was inevitable, there was nothing they could do, accept our fate with dignity, can’t win them all etc – just ignore we were joint top with a game in hand just two weeks ago. No one does self sabotage quite like this Celtic Board.
When something in life causes you to feel the way I do right now, then it’s advisable to make a change.
So, I’m gonna give Celtic a wide berth for the time ahead. The Celtic board can continue to play the victim while making tens of thousands in wages every month off the working class fans they seem so determined to besmirch. I’ll at least have the peace of knowing I’m not funding their incompetent arrogance.

I want the manager away today and tidsdale, those who recruited them must be removed in the short term, if MON and Maloney will come let them run things with their own coaches, get rid of Strachan for all the good he is too, in the 90s the club had no money and no chance of raising it, mccann was supposed to put an end to family dynasties, it hasn’t happened we are now a toy of a billionaire who has no time for any dissent or for anyone who won’t kiss his arse, trumpian in his methods we are in rapid decline.

NEW structure personnel are required to run a modern professional set up, Tinsdale and Nicholson need to be removed from footballing decisions ASAP
MO’N in now as DOF or board advisor for all football decisions now, don’t care what the title is, just put him in charge today, this train wreck is needing stopped
In house look at how the clubs football dept is performing in terms of development, recruitment, youth academy etc needs to be undertaken, as clearly we need to get away from overseeing from DD when he gets involved ? to a more balanced expert focused football dept going forward
The frustration will continue to boil over if DD Nicholson continue to deflect by pointing the finger of blame on fans, plus leave Wilfreid Nancy exposed every match day, not a viable strategy or going forward
I wish to thank Peter Lawwell for his part in what Paul67 prophetically called 10 or 15 years ago a G.o.D. So, it has proved.
Could I ask him, as a final act before resigning, to put our new manager, Wilfried (Je ne regrette rien) Nancy on gardening leave til next summer and reinstate Martin O’Neil and Shaun Maloney, before a dire situation gets even worse?
Pretty lucrative comeuppance.
WFIW, I think the strain has shown on Lawwell for quite some time. He could have gone in a dignified manner but chose not to.
He followed DD and his son’s lead by blaming the fans for the board’s own failings.
What Lawwell, DD and the rest of the board would do well to remember is, that before BR, we had 10,000 empty seats with that cringe-worthy ‘a club like no other’ banner’.

And I meant to add, there will many more empty seats before long and that will be down to DD and his incompetent, arrogant lackeys.
Those statements yesterday before the game yesterday were terrible. Yet more swipes against the people that they have let down badly as if it’s their fault the exec have butchered the squad and the season.
I have no reason to believe the threat stuff – it’s just a card to play to shift blame….again. Remember when Traynor did it at Sevco? Every so often a puff piece about abuse or threat to him or someone connected to them with no evidence or proof just the story change the narrative. In our little case (its a big world out there) I think Wilfried is feeling that more than anyone this morning.
The players will be suffering too.
For that, they have my sympathy AND my support.
Last night might have been us hitting absolute rock bottom …
… but it might not.
