Stokes needs to gamble on the defender missing the ball – that’s what great strikers do. Twice he’s passed up tap-ins gifted by dodgy defending.

Not a great first half performance. Lenny is trying a few different things with these games and we can’t deny him that opportunity, nor can we expect flowing football. He has earned this with the way the Bhoys have played this season.
We started off well enough with Commons the stand out wide on the right. He then pushed inside, probably to try and get Izzy, Ledley and Charlie more into the game down the left, but the ball keeps going down the right and Mathews often found himself with no support.
Neil will tinker a bit at half time and likely bring on Victor early in the second half. Still expect us to win this.
It’d have a classic ‘dustbins’ and ‘lamppost ‘ defence.
We are struggling because the we are going sideways and backwards when we reach the dustbins and pinging ineffective hi ba’s off the lamppost!
We need sharp play through or round the Dustbins and make the lamppost turn (most lampposts don’t find this easy)
If we are going to freshen up let it be on 60 not 85

I find our lack of fight frustrating at times.
We should be at the very least level if not winning at half time but have the look of a team playing a meaningless end of season fixture. A winning habit becomes self fulfilling and attitude is not something to be switched on and off as and when required.
100% every time is the very minimum requirement from a Celtic player.
I still think we will win this with an improved second half attitude.

Stokes does this often, frustrates with his lack of sharpness before producing something for nothing. But expect to see Watt come on for him at some point
