  2. Celtic team to face Dundee United at 12.45: Forster; Lustig, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre; Matthews, Brown, Ledley, Boerrigter; Commons, Stokes Subs: Zaluska, Balde, Rogic, Mouyokolo, Atajic, Herron, McGeouch

  3. Malone. As I said biton look a great player. He has pace , can tackle Is skill full and great in the air

Pukki indeed looks more skilfull than hooper

But difference is hooper had the nack of being in the right place at the right time

Pukki has not scored many goals in 7 years. Of course we would like him to change, but why buy a forward who has not a record of scoring when the one thing we need is a proven goalscorer

We have wasted too much money signing non goal scoring forwards who continue their poor record with us

We needed a goalscorer to be signed during this transfer window and so far we haven’t

  4. Top of the morning (just) to you all from a sunny, blustery, Fife.

Should be a good day for the game and a win at Tannadice is always welcome.

Come on you bhoys in green.

16 roads, I hope he finds some form and better crossing. Can be a crackin player on his day.

    Bournesouprecipe.

Yeah mate he’s a left back. United signed him last year for a rite few million quid!

    From previous

Pukki comes with his own song …Whats not to like… Well apart from that song

    A work in progress : > )

  9. Good to see two of the new bhoys starting today.

Would like to see Big Balde get another run out too, before we unleash Pukki after the international break

    Unfortunately those days are infrequent.

  11. 16 roads - Wee Oscar the Celtic warrior. on

    Well said KLV.

The Celtic squad is all of a sudden beginning to look really strong.

    It’s all good.

  12. Re Charlotte Fakeovers tweets disappearing.

He/she has also changed their profile picture to a woman with a ball gag in.

I’m guessing a possible clue they have been gagged.

  13. Sydney Tim….

I agree with part of what you say. We have wasted time and money forwards such as Bangura and others.

Not sure I’d agree with your assessment of Pukki. It isn’t necessarily ‘bad form’ that has caused him not to score lots of goals. He has been with a Bundesliga team that has better players. Looks like he hasn’t been a starter for that reason.

  14. Stairheedrammy says cmon Oscar on

Who was organising the petition from shareholders to Celtic to raise the issue of SFA shenanigans around granting the dead club a Euro license? I just realised I have over 100 shares

    Syd

“Pukki has not scored many goals in 7 years”

    Granted.

But he’s 23 years old, and has been playing (infrequently) at a considerably higher level than Hoops did before he joined us.

Extrapolating his record from as far back as 16 years old is a little unfair, albeit that it demonstrates that he’s been highly regarded from a very young age.

Perfect age to join this Celtic team. Talented. Skillful. Clever. And fast.

    I predict a riot.

  16. Tricoloured Ribbon on

Watt not even on the bench.Looks like Guidi is correct about him away on loan to either Lierse in Belgium or Aberdeen.

That Twitter pic of Pukki is a cracker, Welcome to Glasgow
