DUNDEE UNITED v CELTIC SWITCH

CELTIC’S Premiership encounter against Dundee United at Tannadice has been switched and will now be shown live on Sky Sports.

The Hoops were due to travel to Tayside on Saturday March 21 to face Jim Goodwi’ns side. However, the game has been pushed back 24 hours and will feature on the Sunday with a midday kick-off.

The champions’ previous match at the venue brought about Wilfried Nancy’s fourth consecutive defeat on December 17 last year – just two weeks after taking over from Martin O’Neill, who had won seven of his eight outings as interim manager.

TANNADICE TALK-IN…Callum McGregor listens to Wilfried Nancy while Jim Goodwin watches Dundee United beat Celtic 2-1 in December.

The Frenchman had already lost to Hearts (1-2), Roma (0-3) and St. Mirren (1-3) before he took his squad to Tannadice.

Despite leading 1-0 at the interval through a Daizen Maeda early strike, the visitors threw away three points when the hosts netted two quickfire goals after the turnaround.

O’Neill was in control when the Hoops won 4-0 against the same opposition on December 10 – just seven days after Nancy had been sacked following the 3-1 derby defeat in the east end of Glasgow.
