    Odd how we see games differently.

     

    Agree we could have played at a higher tempo, but we had plenty of chances, should have had a penalty.

     

    If we play with a little more tempo we will be comfortable.

    Not much different to the first half expected, all Celtic, no breakthrough thanks to Dundee assisted by Bobby Madden, who gives Celtic no benefit of any doubts and allows the hammer throwing tacklers like the dreadful O’Dea to breange in ad nauseum.

     

     

    Eddy and Mikey were mauled everytime they got sight of the goal hopefully James Forrest will find the space as Dundee tire in the second half, just think how many goals Sinclair could score if he wasn’t merely a winger.

     

     

    It’s probably our strongest line up available, but again we look to NFL’s bench.

    Blaming Madden is unacceptable.

     

     

    NFL will have no complaints about the ref in his HT kick up the ertswhile.

     

     

    Defence looks leaden footed when faced with any concerted attack.

     

     

    Midfield are strolling

     

     

    Attack are jittery.

     

     

    Henderson (for Johnson) would be worth it just for his corner kicks – Callum’s have been awful.

     

     

    Put Forrest in behind Eddie – if Eddie stays on.

    One dimensional, lacking guile, poor performance. Team selection strange. Johnston was poor last week and exactly the same today. Lustig when Benkovic fit? Must get better surely?

    Plenty of effort. A smattering of guile but we still nearly fell behind to yet another example of Toljan being the wrong side of the runner.

     

     

    Great tidy wee player going forward but not what Celtic need.

     

     

    I expect the breakthrough to come from the McGregor:Tierney: Sinclair triangle movemnets or Edouard will just have to bustle his way through.

    Decent first half. We started well first 30 mins but went a bit flat towards the end of the half. A goal will make all the difference because Dundee will have to come out a bit. It should have come from the spot after Scotty was pulled back in the box. As clear a penalty as you will ever see. Dundee occasionally looked dangerous on the break but our makeshift central defense did ok.

     

     

    Need more from Eduard and Johnson. Ed looking really isolated through the middle at times. Timo might be a good option with his directness and turn of pace. Can’t see anything but a comfortable win here. Just need that first goal.

    Hammer-thrower tackles ? No problem… nothing to see here. Clear penalty ? nothing to see here (and if you think it was a dive, then no booking ? – and you have an assistant to refer to, no ?)

     

     

    Yes, we are not at our best, but this type of “officiating” is very frustrating,

    We need more movement off the ball into the correct areas. Toljan has had the ball several times and when Forrest pulls out right there are gaps in the channel that no one is running into.

     

     

    Stop being so static.. Pass and move through a packed defence.

     

     

    Some of Broony’s long passing has been a joy. I only counted one misplaced one.
