    “Welsh was MOTM today”said,err,only you.

  2. The Green Brigade mow are the old “Jungle” where I used to stand at the half way line .

Then I moved to the front stand ,the old season ticket book ,remember them

.Times move on ,don’t criticise the young generation they may have more cojones than us old ones

They started out in the curve between the north stand and the Jock Stein stand.

  4. Good result today coming back from an away game on Thursday 👏

I probably can’t add much more to what’s already been said.

Thank you for all the nice words cqn 👍💚🙏

So, if another club DID want him, and were prepared to pay the money, and he DIDN’T want to play for Celtic, …..then the transfer CAN be kyboshed whether Celtic like it or not?….that’s exactly what I thought

No they didn’t I was there and you were not, if indeed you ever go to CP, which I doubt!

  7. prestonpans bhoys on

Oh and yes I moved to 112 after a few years and they were in thr back three rows beside me but certainly didn’t start there

  8. PRESTONPANS BHOYS on 7TH NOVEMBER 2021 7:50 PM

Well they were certainly there at one point early on in there existence. I went and joined them a couple of times.

  9. 31003,

I think that Jota knows that he will develop very well under Ange.

It is obvious he is loving the fitba being played @ Celtic. He’s been oot on loan a few times and he knows this is the best place for his career for the next 2 or 3 Seasons.

From the ol’ Jungle to the aul Stand….

Reminded me of how Michael Foot described David Steel….

“He’s passed from rising hope to elder statesman without any intervening period whatsoever”

Just get leaders of Celtic who don’t worship the occult.

Leaders who’ll pull a wooden mallet from their inside coat pocket and ‘MALLET’ this, masonic, Mumbo-Jumbo on the napper, so to speak!

    11th minute of the

    11th hour on the

    11th day !!!

    11×3 = 33.

    33° third degree masonry.

And Celtic just fall into line like meek little lambs.

Slightly perplexed by the hypotheticals being punted re us signing Jota permanently.

Celtic – “Benfica, we want to invoke the signing clause”

Benfica – “Our hands are tied by the clause. Go ahead”

Jota – “Yes Celtic, I’ll sign for £X”

    or

“No thanks Celtic. Appreciate you’ve put me in the shop window. Have been tapped up by FC whoever for £2 x X”

  13. Having an agreement to buy Jota for an agreed fee is not quite the same thing as having personal terms sorted and a binding agreement in place with the player. Sign him up now.

  14. Back to Basics – exactly, you can’t force a player to sign if he doesn’t want to,strike while the iron’s hot in January

  15. Celtimac

Didn’t think like that ,just started taking my children to the game and let them see it without the trousers legs be heated .

  16. fanadpatriot

Early version of the ol’ heat exchange system….

Never got a mention at COP26

    Suggestions for the GB …

When you have a desire to sing “Broad Black Brimmer” sing “Grace” instead.

If you feel an urge to sing “Sean South” (a lie of a song BTW) go with “Let the People Sing”?

Ready to dust down “The Merry Ploughboy”

Go with “The Soldier’s Song” instead.

BOTOB? Bin it, and come back with The Fields of Athenry.

Songs of love and pride in times of oppression which celebrate our Irish heritage ….

… instead of lowest common denominator establishment baiting with clichéd references to the provisional IRA.

Mix in with club favourites such as

    – “Willie Maley (without the add-on)”

    – “Just Can’t Get Enough”

    – “Always look on the bright side of life”

    – “In the heat of Lisbon”

    – ” Roll With It”

    – “Last Christmas”

    – “Celtic, Celtic”

    – “The Celtic Song”

    – “Calum McGregor”

    – “COYBIG”

    – new Kyogo and Liel chant PLUS

    – an original Joe Hart number?

You could be on to something.

Oh, and mix in some musical opprobrium towards the match referee of course.

  18. A bit strange asking them to sing, Let the People Sing.

and then telling them not to sing certain songs

The whole point of that song was to allow people to sing what they like.

As a man of a certain age I remember when Manchester City used to win bugger all. Didn’t bother me,I have no interest in them, then or now except when they happen to play Celtic. Who did take an interest in them winning nothing were Manchester United fans who erected a clock in Old Trafford counting the days since their city riva!s win a trophy.

Is that 67 matches now since there has been a player from Snake Mountain dismissed in a Scottish domestic game ?

Hope the Green Brigade have a big space down the front for our clock.

  20. 67 Domestic Games no red, but 4 useless retrospective Reds.

Anyone have the Stats of how many Euro games & how Many Euro Reds.

The whole point of that song was to allow people to sing what they like.

The whole point of folk dying in the war’s was to give today’s citizens the choice.

Do you want to wear a Poppy, or not to wear one.

    only saying…..

  22. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    An Dun …

    Noted.

In it’s original form, BOTOB is no a song about the PIRA.

The very loud and noticeable add-on of “Provisional Wing” after the line beginning “When being just a lad like you” makes it so.

Regarding both songs – why in the 21st Century exhort in song about taking up arms?

I have a simple approach to moral dilemmas about Celtic.

    – IRA chants

    – Names of betting companies and alcohol manufacturers on our jerseys

    – board relationship with fans

What do I think our founder would think?

  23. What the morons don’t get or don’t care about is how it reflects on others and the club. Go sit in your own house, go sit in the park and sign your dirge don’t bring it to my door and don’t bring it to our club.

You are harming the club your supposed to support – nobody telling you what to think but do it on your time not mine or the clubs

  24. We are all fortunate at loving Celtic ,our forefathers have left us a great gift ,do not let us be devided by a media that hate what we are .
