    Are we weary or are we playing like the league’s already won ? Only Dundee looked like they had something to play for in that second half .

    Idah continues to be consistently poor.

     

    He got a couple of important match winning goals last year

     

    but has been really poor since then considering what we paid for him.

     

    Way over the top.

    Trusty need to toughen up a bit. Generally I like him but needs to learn. As for the people who suggest hooking a player immediately he makes an error or could do better – that’s not how you manage people, like never.

     

    Bernardo was as poor tonight as he was against Sevco which is a worry as always felt he was very reliable.

     

    Lesson tonight is to score when on top and had we done so it’s game over especially when we create such good openings.

     

    Dundee had a real go and were aggressive which we don’t handle well. We are crying out for a bit more strength and physicality – it’s a big miss and should be addressed quickly

    Thoughts on Calmac? For me his influence on games has waned in recent games . Doesn’t seem so secure on the ball in tight situations .

    Completely agree with the comment that we don’t cross quickly enough and we don’t shoot often enough……

    Grateful for the point at the end. Glad we dug in after they went ahead.

     

     

    However, to quote Corporal Jones, some of our players don’t like it up ‘em.

     

     

    Big Murray bullied Trusty while we had no such presence at the other end.

     

     

    Dundee looked like they wanted it more than we did in the last 15-20 minutes, but we did dig in during injury time to save the point.

    Watched the game….couple of chances when we should have scored….but didn’t.Praise to Dundee they deserved a share of the points.Some players open to criticism and rightly so.Sitting top of the league with a healthy lead in January …..quite pleased

    we had 80% possession but only 4 shots on target and 5 shots off target the exact same as Dundee with 20% possession

    Complacency starting to creep in …. manager needs to nip this in the bud , alternative theory were knackered but the other teams equally should be knackered

     

     

    Still we did enough to avoid a reverse

     

     

    Hopefully we can have a more complete 90 minute performance on Saturday.

    Oddly enjoyable, somewhat old fashioned game there.

     

    We need some physicality in the team.

     

    Can’t complain about teams parking thenbus tonight.

     

    Draw probably a fair result.

     

    Need a drink and some reflection time

    Thoroughly enjoyed the match as we are miles ahead and it still beats playing against a low block and every confidence our Brendan and the bhoys will learn and bounce back for the next two big matches we have next.

    constantly weak mentally and physically against the big teams – and seemingly weak physically every now and again against the wee teams….

     

     

    saturday’s game will be very predictable – unpunished physical approach mixed in with constant unpunished time wasting

    That, and sometimes worse than that , is what happens when you don’t take your early chances.

     

     

    Feels like some players – Idah in particular – seem to think that we can afford not to be really incisive because other chances will come.

     

     

    He needs to step up hugely, and fast.

    How many games have we played this season

     

     

    At this point every year we have had 2 weeks break

     

     

    Now we have had 4 games in the firs 2 weeks

     

     

    Would love to know where to get those stats, as that’s what’s breaking us just now

    we lost a goal from our corner kick and another at a corner when trusty was more concerned in watching their player score than following the flight of the ball and heading it clear , poor poor defending

    YB Berne are a big athletic team, ok they have zero points but tonight is a huge worry, play like that and we could blow qualification

    As far as I can see, we have played

     

     

    23 games in the league (11 at home and 12 away)

     

     

    6 Champions league games

     

     

    4 league cup games

     

     

    =====

     

     

    Thats 33 games

     

     

    And we aint past january

     

     

    33 games was a league and cup campaign back in the 80’s

    A difficult watch tonight glad in the end not to have been beaten but could have had the game won in 30 minutes. Been so many games recently , that type of performance can happen but another away game out the road and two huge games coming up.Hopefully Daizen will be back for them both.

    Lads listing the performances were we poor this season, I’m scratching my head trying to thing of the season that we played a blinder in every game…

    for a team of Celtic quality – we give the ball away at crucial times in attack – tonight it broke down at Kyogo (good player when ball is in front – pretty woeful at taking care of the ball and linking up). Hatate careless and nonchalant on the ball – how does he get away with it ? He doesn’t seem to care.

     

     

    The ONLY way the ball arrives in the box is when a full back over laps – so predictable. What about a roll across the 18 for a shot at goal, what about a winger hitting the line instead of cutting inside.

     

     

    Fortunately we are ahead so much – but this team is flat, boring, lacking guile, lacking directness.

     

     

    Not an over-reaction – just observation on our form of late and hoping we fix it in this window – exits and incomings
