    A quick read back tells me Auston Trusty picked up the Chris Jullien ‘Ragdoll’ medal.

     

    That Bernardo was very poor and that we definitely need a Victor Wanyama-type physical enforcer.

     

    The other team clearly wanted it more.

     

    That we haven’t played decent since Leipzig.

     

    Oh, and that as we’re only 16 points clear, the manager needs to give himself and the players a shake?

    Not an important 2 points to drop.Saturdays Cup game more important.Then Tuesday.

     

    Dundee deserved the point,as did we.Big chances missed done us in 1st half.If we take them,that ends up,5 or 6 tonight.

     

    We can’t win every game,and players can’t be good every game.In saying that,2 moans.If you take Idah of,why not put Kenny on.Swapping GT for Valle,just a waste of a Sub for me.Can’t work that one out unless an injury.

     

    Credit for staying in it when it looked lost.Not at anything like our best.

    I don’t go along with the …we’ve been sht for months . I thought we were very good on sat and first half tonight we should have been out of sight.

     

    If you don’t take chances the game can come back and bite you. It certainly did that. We are weak though but have been weak for as long as I can remember!!!

    Every team can have an off night.I watched the game.Inter never got out of 2nd gear.Dreadful game,and YBs were awful..Look at their other games.

    If Kenny has got the bit of gallusness and bravery that Idah lacks , he now has the perfect chance to claim the second striker spot . I would start him in the next game .

    I am worried about the YB game as they may not be as bad as points show this season but what worries me most is that it is almost win or bust for us and that means a high pressure stressful night awaits……..and we team/fans ain’t so good at handling that.

     

    Only hope we don’t regret Zagreb draw that should have been a win….

    And they don’t do well under the pressure, especially at home (but mostly away lol) – with their fans abandoning ship at 55 mins

     

     

    I can guarantee that “The Hills Have Eyes” has a very uncomfortable sleep tonight

    Dundee were “up for it”, something that our present team seem to have a problem with. Perhaps too many games where the opposition sit back for 90 minutes.

     

    80% posession should win any game.

     

    Sliw build up, too many back passes.

     

    Inability to match their aggression.

     

    But as has been stated, we do not have the divine right to win every game. Dundee thoroughly deserved a draw.

     

    By main concern is Idah.

     

    He pulled out of a challenge that should have been a goal, he turned his back on a cross in the 6 yard box whilst defending our goal. His first touch isn’t great. He needs coaching.

     

    Give Kenny a chance.

    If you are an easily sussed wimp you never got near a Stein, O’Neill, Jansen, or Lennon 1st time managerial era team.

     

     

    The bit that Tony Doc says something like: “You cant put desire, heart, mental strength into a player…they need to have that about them in the first place” says that stuff on show ‘tonight’ in the Celtic team hasn’t been exposed before – Dortmund apart – and Dundee made us look gettable tonight.

     

     

    Hmmm.

     

     

    PS, A post like this would have led to a ban under the drunken Mods reign of daft arsedness of shooting himself in foot. The Mod is like Celtic – Hatred of a “Kevin” name. Only saying.

    The Zagreb result had me raging.Three points there for the taking.I was shot down on here for it.Was told,a point away was a good result,mostly from people who are angry tonight.

     

    That extra 2 points ,like gold dust.That was one of our poor results.Tonight means nothing.

    as I’ve said before if idah could only get into the position that his marker gets into when the ball goes into their box as the defender always seems to be in the right place , idah positional sense in the penalty area is non existent.

    Okay five games in twelve days might play a part. But to go from 2-1 up to 3-2 down….not good. Will take the point though given the alternative.One more SPL game to play this month, Dundee agin.

     

    The others relate to other tournaments, first up Kilmarnock, in the Cup, lets get into the next round.

    I shared your anger post Zagreb as it really was there to win.

     

     

    That said we can see how vulnerable we can be against decent teams. Time will tell if it will harm us.

     

     

    2 big games now. Kilmarnock will have learned tonight. Saturday with a 40,000 crowd won’t be a walk in the park. It’s their biggest game of the season. It’s not even our biggest game of the week.

    While I’m sure we would have won comfortably, if we had taken those chances in the first half, Dundee gave it a right go in the second half and the mib allowed them to fall over and get free kicks. That episode in the last minute where their player simply fell over on the line while challenging Engels bordered on the farcical. Can’t believe the mib was conned. He simply pandered to the cheating.

    I know what your saying,but I am positive Saturday is a win.Tuesday night is monumental for us.Cannot see anything other than a win.As I said,watched that Inter game,but also the highlights of their other games.They have been shocking at the back,and slow.4 and 5 every game.We cannot pass it up.3 or 4 would be great for our GD..

    What’s obvious or should be , we are way too soft and more teams are getting the message .defence tonight was poor . We have two central defenders who are poor , trusty and scales surely we can get better . As someone said earlier any team having a go at us have a chance . Any team that can play as they did vs RBL are not a bad team , but Brendan needs to toughen the team up . Oh for a Marc Rieper or a Paul Elliot . Could just be a minus 13 tmrw night .

    we had 80% possession, so dundee had 20%.

     

     

    but both teams had 4 shots on target, and also both had 5 shots off target, and obviously both teams scored 3 goals.

     

     

    so is there any point in having 4 times more possession if you are just going to have the same stats and not win?

    Well, that was a ,more competitive game, Dundee are really quite impressive, seen them a few times now and the same players are the standouts…

     

     

    Unsurprisingly, the aul’ Rodgers Loathers are out in force this evening….
