Should have been way ahead in fist half given the chances made, trusty was very weak for 2 of their 3 goals and that ultimately cost us. Dundee pushed us hard and made it a challenging game. 3-3 was about right in the end. The end of the season will tell us if it was 1 point gained or 2 points dropped. It’s done now so focus turns to next game.
I do hope by end of january we have a leftback, winger/ striker and centreback in the door to give us a wee boost for rest of the season.

Bernardo scores the missed sitter the game is over. So many poor performances. Trusty awful. Bernardo not much better. Idah chickens out of a fifty fifty in the first half as well to score a tap in. We were lucky to get the draw. That starting midfield not good enough.

Good reality check Clunks. Didn’t watch the game. Glory hunters rip ma knitting. Players will always have poor patches and then come good. Not many playing teams thrive in the depths of winter. The only thing that matters is the trophy count in May. I get kicks out of watching the hun on hun action on their sites where they rip their players to shreds. Hard to believe we have as many in our sites happy to do the same. Your life must suck. Change it up. Enjoy the moment. Celtic are 16 points clear. Hail Hail.

The Ibrox team need to win tonight to get within thirteen points – I don’t think they will.
We now have three games at Celtic Park that should see us qualify for the last sixteen of the Scottish Cup and the last twenty-four play-offs in the CL….and by the end of January the gap in the league will be between thirteen and twenty-two points with just a third of the season remaining. Imagine that was foretold at the start of the season – how many would have believed it?

Was looking for the quotes from players who recalled how Jock Stein told them to work on their weaknesses. Couldn’d find what I was looking for but found this…
“Celtic had embraced the ‘show up and play’ methodology that was clearly getting them nowhere, but Stein introduced detailed tactical analyses, which instilled in his players a greater understanding of how football works and of how it should be played. Stein broke games down, illustrated different formations, analysed the opponents and highlighted common mistakes running through the Celtic team. Stein hated repeating himself; his instructions and tutorials were intensely detailed and rapid.”

Morning Bhoys from a strangely bright Dundee
I only managed to catch 80 minutes of the match on tele as I had to nip out to collect son and pal from Dens after the match but, whilst It might be different but for the benefit of our well earned lead, I really enjoyed the game. For me Saturday is our most important game this month and a wee reminder to players that hard work can beat talent if talent doesn’t work hard is perhaps well timed here, especially before the hatchet men of Killie toll into town.
A fair few of our fans leaving Dens were raging about our “inability to match their aggression”, being “weak as pish” or similar. Whilst I thought Trusty was poor I had excused Idah pulling out of his chance as with the Don in charge I thought he was probably more scared of a red card for trying to score than a hit from their keeper. Turning his back on a cross in our box though was the very definition of weak as piss however. This is where BR needs to earn his money and get Trusty and Idah back on it whether he builds them up or keeps chopping and changing after each poor performance I do not know. We as supporters need to help them too.
I missed the pen but assume it must have been an absolute stone-waller for Don to give it? Anyone got a link? I think the only decision we got all night was Reo not getting booked for a high boot challenge.

Dundee v Celtic…
Maybe a game of ” Two Halves” ?
Despite the half time score line of 1 – 1, Celtic were the better team. I was reasonably confident of a Celtic Victory at half time……I was wrong.
The 2nd half belonged to Dundee for sure, and the 2nd half score line would be 2 – 2.
However, what happened to Celtic in the 2nd half as Dundee were most certainly the ” Hungrier” of the Two teams ?
I have no doubt that Brendan will be asking questions of certain Celtic players once the dust has settled…..IF he hasnt already ?
Well done to Dundee, who fought like Tigers especially in that 2nd half….they deserved the Point.

Well said.
Sometimes Lady Luck abandons you. She did last night.
We missed multiple chances.
Their first goal benefited from 3 deflections- one off Bernardo, one off CalMac and one off AJ.
The second goal deflects of CCV to beat Kasper.
Dundee played well but they got very lucky.
