Very true, we were up against an all out opponent and showed character to come back.
AN DÚN @ 10:22 AM,
Yes, thought last night it was harsh giving CCV an OG – yet saw the highlights and Kasper saves that all day long without the big man’s intervention…
Did anyone hear the BskyB interviewer ask Donnelly why he didn’t celebrate after he scored!?

Deflections or not not we got out fought at the front middle and the back, that is the team that is culpable, if your attitude is wrong if your not ready to battle for the team and want to cruise your at the wrong club, that needs rectified pronto or bad results will continue, I thought Sunday might have been a drawn game, but last night shocked me as we couldn’t or didn’t want to match their physicality.

DESSYBHOY @ 10:33 AM,
Well obviously you’ve got a point.
Early in the season we seemed to struggle against Aberdeen’s physicality but we stood up to them after that…
Brendan Rodgers is always talking about his team’s showing personality and aggression, yet we have been very passive in quite a few games now…
Always interesting to see how players are performing when they have their agents in their ear….

Our midfield provides little ball winning capability so our passing has to be spot on or we are countered, McGregor is not and never will be a ball winning disruptor of counter attacks and now he hasn’t got the pace either, why has every pass into the midfield to go through him where he sends it sideways left or right or backwards rarely does he turn and face to oppsition goal, this isn’t starting moves it’s giving the opposition time to get into their defensive shape.

We now play them again in the League at CP in 10 days or so, let’s see what happens in that if we are going to battle , they will.
Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on
Good morning CQN.
Enjoyable post match comments.
The new day has certainly eased some of my frustrations from last night.
If we’d had another ? ~3% ? from the team last night we’d have won comfortably.
As Brendan says oft – they’re not machines.
We’re still a work in progress clearly.
Disappointed for Trusty now, rather than in him.
I think he’s been a good addition to the squad.
Last night I actually thought he looked physically unwell and uncomfortable right from the start.

DESSYBHOY @ 10:55, 10:59 AM,
Well, we are kinda reaching the…
…we need to talk about Callum moment
That midfield has a lot of qualities, it has options, if it was better than the summer of it’s parts we would be seeing Leipzig type performances on a regular bases.
Of course we have the elephant in the room before we meet Dundee again.
Our most important game in a generation???
Is this all about the preparation for that game and that is going swimmingly – or are the coaches concerned that the team has lost it mojo at completely the wrong time?
I’ve got to the stage where I can’t wait until next Thursday…
